  1. Damn #89. That must have been a hell of a date if he gave you $4,385!
  2. Reading this post right in the middle of a few people discussing kids sports and a personal situation with one of our fellow wallers reminded me of something my wise father taught me. Before making a statement, ask yourself: 1. Is it true? 2. Is it necessary? 3. Is it hurtful? Why CDWD, did you feel the need to cut into the middle of a conversation with this post? Isn't this exactly what so many on this board are trying to avoid?
  3. I was wondering who would be the first the cheapen the emotion of the picture.
  4. You bloody bugger
  5. Awesome pics Debbie. If war could ever be considered human. Please guys - no cat jokes for picture #1. It would be unseemly.
  6. Just like the Jets did!
  7. Is this good news ICE? Are you holding off on a divorce?
  8. I've flown the commuter jets many times and actually prefer them on anything less than 90 minutes. But I'd recommend you go to the bathroom first. And take your own food.
  9. You referring to the article JSP? Or the pop-up for the high heel shoes?
  10. I love men who know their history.
  11. With pressure like this on these kids - has it ceased to be a "sport" or a "game" in the true sense of the word? Is this why people haven't learned how to win or lose with dignity and class? Is the increased pressure on these young kids contributing on the increase in teen suicides? And I think it may be worse down here in the southern states.
  12. I hope you're joking. Most of the medical community had this attitude and were already practicing sterilization in institutions to eradicate "feeblemindedness" when Hitler came to power. And we all know where that led to.
  13. The Aussies have that honor, not the Brits. This is the first time I've seen this. It's funny. And very true about the potato chips and the beer.
  14. It's still cheaper than sitting in a sports bar orering beer and food. Plus you get the audio and all the comforts of home.
  15. Love the show. I've actually given up going C&W dancing on Sunday nights now because of Extreme Makeover Home Edition, Desperate Housewives and Boston Legal. Great range of emotions there. Tears, laughter and sex. Good stuff
  16. Before y'all get your toga in a knot, look closely. Butterface.
  17. Lightweight .
  18. I'm not going to lunch - don't wan't to miss anything.
  19. Viscious but legal according to my TV.
  20. I often wonder about that too. The few times we've been on a drive with a "no huddle" we are gaining yards and then we stop to take a time out. The next play is usually garbage. Could it be that the team loses its momentum at that time and gives the opposing team's defense a chance to re-group?
  21. I'm sure you're just talking about the guys, right?
  22. I cried. Especially when the carpenter was building the swing. Somehow he just knew the swing had to be big. I'm also learning a lot about special needs people and how difficult it can be to do things that we take so much for granted. The experiment they did on the host where they showed him what it's like to suffer through all those noises and sounds with enhanced senses was amazing. When the people on the show are also crying, then you gotta' know you have a hit. The silent cheering was also awesome. I'm glad this show is selecting people who are truly deserving.
  23. I couldn't drag myself away from Desparate Housewives and Boston Legal.
