  1. So it wouldn't slip out of your hand.
  2. Congratulations Grandpa! Don't forget a pic.
  3. I scored 53% dixie - just "above" the Mason Dixon line. Interesting. I've lived in So. Calif., WNY, WI, PA and TX. Must have confused the scoring. But since I'm a political fence sitter, perhaps I'm a cultural one as well.
  4. I had a boyfriend who did - on the weekends, not every day. It was hot!
  5. Agreed. Love the colored stuff and still prefer bikinis or things. But it's hard to find a guy who wears sexy underwear.
  6. It seems like all denominations feel they have the better handle on what it means to be a Christian. I sometimes wonder if the man upstairs is laughing at all these rightous know-it-alls who feel that their intepretation is the "right" one. Of course, none of us will know until the end. I've gone to many different churches because I prefer to worship in a group. But the only denomination I've seen so far that seems to welcome everyone to worship, and that leaves the "judging" up to God (and not the parish), is the Episcopal faith.
  7. Very good point - stay on the city ordinance route (zoning, noise ordinance etc. )and keep nagging the city. They'll eventually listen. The sugar/bleach in the gas tank is kind of cruel because as long as these kids are just working on cars and not dealing drugs etc,, they aren't doing anything wrong other than being totally inconsiderate little bastards (which is typical). As soon as he gets a girlfriend, he may lose some interest in the car. Keep talking to the parents.
  8. Assistant to a CEO who doesn't realize how underutilized I am. Background in marketing communications, event planning, trade shows etc.
  9. At least for men..... UNDERWEAR IS IMPORTANT!! Always wear clean underwear in public, especially when working under your vehicle... From the Northwest Florida Daily News comes this story of a Crestview couple who drove their car to Wal-Mart, only to have their car break down in the parking lot. The man told his wife to carry on with the shopping while he fixed the car in the lot. The wife returned later to see a small group of people near the car. On closer inspection, she saw a pair of male legs protruding from under the chassis. Although the man was in shorts, his lack of underpants turned private parts into glaringly public ones. Unable to stand the embarrassment, she dutifully stepped forward, quickly put her hand UP his shorts, and tucked everything back into place. On regaining her feet, she looked across the hood and found herself staring at her husband who was standing idly by. The mechanic, however, had to have three stitches in his forehead!
  10. I'm so jealous. But I will be in Vegas for the weekend so I won't get much time to mope.
  11. I still can't believe she called 911. But did any of you hear about the other call from the woman in California who was in the drive-thru line at Burger King and wanted them to send a cop out because the restaurant couldn't get her hamburger order correct? She wouldn't "pull forward" and wait while they re-cooked her order and she was holding up a bunch of cars. She got into it with the manager and called 911 from her cell in the car. They need to start arresting people for abusing 911 - maybe that will get the message across.
  12. Well said Millbank. Just look at the parents at a kid's game....tell me they're setting an example of good sportsmanship and accountability.
  13. No way. Not when he's playing my Bills.
  14. You're in a chipper mood today Rich. It must be getting closer to football season.
  15. I can't believe Stojan didn't get on the ball and register that web site! Steve, you're slipping.
  16. Then we'll just have to make sure it's your best ever!!!!
  17. I don't shine after shaving so I can't be of any help with this one.
  18. My best away game was the Steelers playoff game the week after the comeback game. It was a charter bus group from Buffalo. Our bus was "mooned" many times as we came into the stadium. The fans were tough, but after we won, they were very gracious and everyone was yelling at us to go "all the way".
  19. "Willis McGahee: Deion Sanders. Just his arrogance and showboating. One day I will be like that guy" He wants to be just like Deion? Please - someone talk to this kid.
