  1. Sorry boys but the smoked, slow cooked then grilled Dinosaur BBQ wango tango wings blow away the fried stuff. Duffs and Anchor debate is meaningless.
  2. EJ actually had a pretty nice effort last year coming back from his disasterous first half. He had a nice camp too.
  3. right, except the two officials who simultaneously threw flags and the league office say you're an idiot.
  4. i would have loved to see CJ get all the carries against the Rams with those gaping holes upfront. That's a 200 yard game all day they way our Oline was rolling. Little known fact: In the 2010 draft when we took C.J. at 9, Jerry Hughes went 31st to the Colts. The correct pick was probably Pouncey or JPP instead of C.J., but he did give us one really great year. (6 yard per carry average on 200+ touches, I dare you to find better numbers)
  5. Their defense couldn't stop us from dominating time of possession last game, mostly because the Oline was firing on all cylinders. No reason we can't keep the score low. We're #1 in the NFL against tight ends this season, the only exception being big Martellus (don't confuse with big Marcel--that's our guy that we paid $29 million last year alone that rewarded us by smoking dope and being out of shape). We shut down Gronk last year in 2nd meeting, need to do the same this year. For some reason Blount is lighter and faster this year, more yards and scores than Shady even. We always have trouble with that bastard.
  6. a heady player, who knows his limitations....
  7. Wow thats pretty cool. I remember those dudes. Eason gets forgotten in that famous draft with Kelly, Marino and Elway but he lit it up his first few years there in NE. As good as Marino his first few years at least.
  8. Last time we played Brady and Gronk our defense did well against them. Gronk wasnt his usual game changer. The last time we played the Pats defense in their own house we marched on them all afternoon and dominated time of possession. No need to change much offensively, they knew what we were doing to do last game on offense and they still couldn't stop it. It can be done. Although currently our best D lineman, #1 RB, #1,2,3,4 WR's are all hurt, so it will take some serious luck to get the W. p.s. For any Pats fans on this board, as long as you were a fan before Tommy Boy fell into your lap then we can take you seriously and you deserve great respect, your squad was awful for a long time and what a run it's been for you. If you're a new fan just because the team wins a lot (a.k.a most Giants fans I know), then you're a weenie and should stop trolling our board. p.s.s. Kraft looks like such a homo with his new mullet. Tell the old turd nobody wants to see an 80 year old bloated guy grow his hair out.
  9. Funny but the dolphins weakness is their $18m qb. The guy is at best a chad pennington type player. Has decent pocket and lateral movement but is really a sub par thrower. They have a tough defense, and some real gamers in Landry and obviously Ajayi. I could see them at 500 this season if they keep it going.
  10. Health problems. Migraines, concussions, he's all done. Still remember that game last year when the Jets could not cover the guy, he was embarassing their D.
  11. Mostly chased plays. Body looks great, had one decent inside move. Im hoping he and Adolphus get as many snaps together as possible, they're the future of our Dline
  12. Disagree that Shady is the whole offense. The Oline has been giving him huge holes until yesterday, the Fins Dline was very well anchored and ready for our ground attack. Touchdown Mike is an excellent back with a better yard per carry average than most runners in the league since he has been here, and that includes Shady. We couldn't stop the run or get them off the field on 3rd downs. Thw only weakness I see in the Pats right now is they can't rush the passer very well. They miss Chandler Jones badly (who looked dominant last night against Seattle). So we will need to sling it in order to win this game. Blount is somehow fast and elusive this year, and he'll be hammering at us more than usual. He has more td's than Shady and averages about the same yards per game. Bills D at home with Dareus back still has a chance against anybody though. I say Bills win this one to complete the sweep, AND we punk the Seahawks who have zero offense the following week to go 6-3.
  13. Oh in case you haven't noticed there are a handful of people that love to point out if there is a similar thread somewhere else because god forbid there be 2 threads with the same general ideas (gulp) This means if u want to get current info on, say Sammy Watkins, you have to go back to some thread started a month ago with 150 replies and scroll through screen after screen to get to the most current postings. Super annoying. I say let the posts be a little redundant if thats the way the board flows you weenies. Back to your original post, the worst thing about Marcel is that he might have this hammy all year. We knew we needed him today badly, but he wasn't healed yet and these things are notoriously slow to come around. Huge let down. He could have at least been healthy and in the best shape of his life in week 5, ready to go. He wasn't, and the team continues to suffer because of it.
  14. First you're assuming we don't make the playoffs, and there's probably a 50/50 chance that we do. As far as receivers go, Whaley should have known Sammy and Goodwin are too injury prone to not have solid backups. Look at how the Steelers stacked their WR's behind Antonio--they have 5 very capable receivers behind him that can all play. When Hogan left, we figured Salas would be the 4th man, Dez maybe Powell. But now we are signing street guys like we had to last year at RB. Wondering who was best WR available on the Bills board in the 4th round when we burned our pick on a 3rd string qb who we don't even activate. Maybe it was Listenbee. Either way, Woods is our only proven guy we can rely on, I hope next year we re-sign Woods draft a beast WR early. As far as this year we go with the Powell, Tate, Hunter, Woods crew and see what happens. Give Dez his shot too. There's some talent there.
  15. If Aaron was in, he picks that last tannehill duck that they incredibly took in for a TD. I dont blame darby, that was a free safety's dream ball that Tanny threw up there. Should have been game over. 23 gets the INT there every time.
  16. It was the aqib talib method, turn your head but maul the receiver and the dopey refs will only be watching to see if u turned the head, not flagging you even though your body is still blatantly interfering. Wasnt surprised at the no call, but thats p.i. in my book.
  17. No the picture was right, they messed up the headline. Shouldve said "loss of talent derails I.K.'s future in the NFL"
  18. The holes are huge. Give Roman some credit as well, these boys are really crushing it on the field. Pass protect is probably a solid B, but run blocking gets an A+. Touchdown Mike gonna roll tomorrow.
  19. Yes. We are playing solid D without Shaq and Dareus, keep them out one more week until the Pats game
  20. He needs the Drew Brees step up, see and throw system. Drew doesn't have the TT scramble ability (no white man does) so he hangs in a little longer and it makes a huge difference giving your targets an extra second or two to get open
  21. He's more of a players coach at this point. From my viewpoint, if the play doesn't come right to him he isn't fast enough to get there. Short yardage package only for the spiker. On a side note, he did make my #51 takeo spikes jersey relevant again, so there's that.....
  22. Your only problem is gonna be finding alcohol there because last time I was in Key West I think I drank most all of it. Because its the Fins, you'll likely be outnumbered so I suggest bringing a plastic sword in case you hafta swashbuckle yourself out of a brouHaha
  23. Disagree. The holes are big and the pass protection is solid. The O line is the offense, as touchdown Mike showed last week with his td blast and will do so again this week if Shady can't go.
  24. Thank you. He may have had a spell of drops in camp but overall he got separation and the Dez can run block unlike Glass Goody
  25. Steelers D is way overrated. Living on reputation. Im not surprised Miami shredded them. Our D is better than Pitt, and for the first time in 23 years we actually have better linebackers than they do (as a unit. Shazier--when healthy is a beast but he wasnt playing) I predict we win by 16, and they show a ton of close ups of Mario benched on the sidelines
