  1. Right. Until you actually look at the facts. Try doing a little research on both quarterbacks production and get back to us. Meanwhile stop embarrassing yourself.
  2. Don't forget Bryant, he was hurt last year but he can be a beast out there.
  3. I know it. But for some reason I have to read everything he writes. It's so bad it's funny. It's like that old dude said on Seinfeld when he's looking at the Kramer painting in the museum:. "I LOATHE him.....Yet I cannot look away..."
  4. Im pulling for him, but very few 5th round WR's end up making a big difference in the NFL. Plus I'm not sure the reason for our limited passing game was lack of open receivers anyway. But the kid has the cocky, can-do attitude that receivers need to win against NFL corners. Maybe he will defy the odds. Meanwhile, get me a solid #2 WR in the draft please.
  5. I think Whaley has had enough of drafting for need. This happens to be the perfect draft opportunity for us to land some great NFL players. I think the hardest positions to grade are QB, and then linemen on both sides. We don't need to take any of those spots this year. (i think Groy will elevate his game even more and win RT job in camp.) So we finalize our draft board in these past few weeks here, and go get the talent we need to build a strong defense that can hold up to Brady, Ajayi, Big Ben etc. I'm hoping for zero qb's to be picked before us, because it will help our chances for a trade back. Either way, this will be Whaley's most important draft, he needs to get it right. No room for Kujo's or EJ's on this one.
  6. In other news, several other bills were seen visiting the team this week...
  7. Perfect draft and position to move down for us this year. I believe we will get a trade partner assuming no run on qb's early. I think peppers is the pick we want most behind Adams and hook
  8. Very true Richie. That and the fact that maybe 1 franchise qb enters the league each year, (some years there are none) and we're supposed to beat all the other teams to that guy with a perennial mid-round pick. The bottom line is we have a lot of talent here. The disadvantage of a new coach is the personnel system fits, but the advantage is we're rolling out a shiny new offense and defense with some elite players on both sides of the ball. This time it won't be Roman and Rex with their 1990's playbooks either.
  9. Doug is a good free agent guy who's had some great finds at LB starting with Hughes. Upgrading kicker was very smart, that gets us a win or two right there compared to last year's kicking mess. Let's boost the dback positions, get a WR in this draft and play some ball.
  10. 5.7 ypc, best in the NFL last year
  11. Listenbee, like most 5th round picks probably won't be an impact player if he makes the team at all. I'd love to see Corey Davis, we haven't had a great YAC guy in a long time here. I think we will be desperately trying to trade down and grab another 2nd round pick, but if not I see us going dback in first 2 out of 3 picks
  12. We are getting peppers with the 10th pick, assuming we can't move back (and maybe even if we do) There is no way a defensive system like McDermotts works without great, versatile safeties. Strong safety might be his most valued position and peppers is the answer. Wish it was Corey D but it's not gonna be....
  13. This is probably true, but TT is still improving. Could surprise this year with new system.
  14. I agree, CJ had a lot of great games for us. Games we otherwise lose without him. There several other guys that never changed the outcome of a single game. Flowers, mccargo and maybin come to mind. Worst part about maybin was that he juiced before the NFL combine and had an artificially larger amount of muscle mass and strength. As soon as he was drafted he had to cut the steroids and he fell 30 lbs to his actual body weight, which was simply not enough to compete against NFL blockers. So it wasn't just a miss on evaluating his talent, we literally got scammed by the guy, who had the balls to hold out all of training camp as well. He was the worst pick ever.
  15. Groy didn't grade out that well or we would have paid the extra 800k. I assume he didn't have the feet or reach to play RT either.
  16. You'll like that firestick a whole lot more if you unlock it and install the Kodi program. Look into it. Takes about 15 minutes to do (follow you tube video instructions) and you'll get all movies and tv series in HD for free. Perfectly legal as long as you don't sell or redistribute. Amazon sells them unlocked but you can do it yourself using just your remote and a little patience.
  17. having an NFL team with a great fan base sells tickets. It's not gimmicks, "regionalizing", slick marketing or the GM trying to do anything more than make the team better. Do you think making an unpopular decision like letting Fred Jackson go was the mark of a team trying to sell more tickets? Sorry but you're reaching.
  18. Interesting reading thanks. There's no reason to think that any QB with a strong work ethic can't continually improve. It seems that the numbers support this too, which is encouraging, especially considering the WR injuries. Dennison might just be the best possible OC for our skillset, I'm glad we will get to see he and Tyrod back together again, I'm sure they're fired up for this season. We will grab a solid WR2 in the second round (after we draft peppers) and I hope it's a durable one. We need some consistency in a bad way this year.
  19. Yeah the Steelers are gonna win the championship now that they've picked up Hunter and his 1.25 catch per game average. How did we ever let such a talent get away?
  20. Uh well Pitt thinks he's still worth a 4th Steelers passing defense was poor last year, in fact their entire defense has struggled since Polamalu left. My buddy is a football guy and a die hard Steelers fan and he says they won't match anything but the most basic offer for Cockrell, who he said was picked on quite a bit as the weak link in the secondary.
  21. I've said this before, but the last half of the 2015 Sammy was the best WR in the game. He was getting 10 yard separation on half his routes. I DVR all the 30 min game shortcuts from past 2 years, it's like he was back in college again. Last year was a mess but he will be ready to roll this season. I still think he can be the best from that great draft class of wideouts.
  22. McDermott would agree. Perfect for his system. He's a true can't miss prospect, like Hooker.
  23. Yup. No other explanation, they simply have him graded as an average dude, not worth the extra 800k. Thanks Kromer, you ended up being more of a pain in the ass to Buffalo than we deserved. Enjoy L.A., you'll love the genuine people and clean air. Weenie.
  24. I'm hoping for Corey Davis like a lot of others here, but I'm worried we won't get him for two reasons: 1. With the exception of Dareus, the Bills never pick who they're projected to pick. Ever. 2. I'm afraid that mcDermott is looking at this team's film last year and saying, "you know, with a decent kicker and the ability to stop the run this is a 10 win team all day". Despite the heavy defensive investment in last year's draft, I could see us doubling down on dbacks for the first two picks then going best WR available in the 3rd. Hope I'm wrong, I think Davis is special.
  25. Capaccio kept harping on that "hey we had the best run game last year with a turnstile at RT so...Why upgrade?" Here's why: Our QB has shown a tendency to tuck and run too quickly, so for him to become the confident passer he needs to be in order for us to win playoff games, the dude needs to stay in the pocket for at least 3 seconds. This isn't really debatable. If the staff thinks Mills can improve his game then great, but if not then we need to address this position immediately. Remember the nightmare at LG we had after Levitre and before Richie? It was a joke, and it killed our ability to run half of our plays all season.
