  1. Here's a question for you: how many offensive lineman did SD take in the 1st round when Buddy was part of the mix? None. In fact, from 2001-2007 with SD, they took only one offensive lineman in the second round (Marcus McNeill) and one in third (Courtney Van Buren). It obviously doesn't preclude an offensive lineman from being taken, but it is an interest fact nonetheless. In that same period, SD took three QBs in the first three rounds (Charlie Whitehurst, Eli Manning and Drew Brees) and two DTs (Luis Castillo and Igor Olashansky), three linebackers (Merriman, Ben Leber and Anthony Waters) and no DEs.
  2. Who, that we could realistically get, did you want?
  3. I don't think that's a fair statement. By playing Brohm, you are getting a read on whether he has the potential to be our long-term QB. There is a big difference between that and throwing the game.
  4. A win gives you nothing: not an emotional boost, a shot at the playoff or even a building block for next year, as this team is going to be gutted. A loss gives you a better shot at a potential stud QB, LT or DT.
  5. I've been wondering if you could move Levitre to RT.
  6. Ok....17.5...you win. Let's try this again...he's missed 17.5 games out of the last 48 games, meaning he's missed 37% of the games. As for what I was pointing out, it was disagreeing with the fact that his reputation as being unhealthy was unwarranted. And we both know you were trying to elevate yourself above the rest of TBD.
  7. I love the ridiculous self-importance of your post; perhaps you ought not to throw stones. In any event, he does have an injury issue. In three years, he's missed 19 games.
  8. At best, Butler should be a swingman ala Whittle on a good OL. He hasn't proven he can stay healthy or contribute in a starting role IMHO.
  9. I think he is referring to the Bills being eliminated from the playoffs (officially), as opposed to saying goodbye to Buffalo.
  10. According to GBNreport, we'd be drafting 9th. http://www.gbnreport.com/weeklydraftorder.html
  11. He's 22 years old and hasn't had a single offseason to bulk up. Way, way too early..
  12. Never understood this one. Ron Wolf was the genius behind GB and Seattle the last 10 years...meh
  13. I'd be at Stedman if it were my kid
  14. Agree...he'll be back more quickly that if he tore a ligament or a ruptured a tendon.
  15. Interesting, unbalanced offense that is not suited for the NFL - check No experience anywhere near NFL - check Quirky, likable personality - check Great fit for CFB - check.
  16. GM-Marc Ross HC-Russ Grimm **I don't buy the fact that just because you are/were a great coach that you will make a great GM, which is what we need more than anything right now. Just my opinion..
