  1. I'd take a look at Yanda, Blalock (who played RT in college), Harris and Willie Colon.
  2. You are wrong. One year of stats may or may not be determinative, but it may be significant in a larger population and i am guessing the poster wasn't a suggesting a finding of the scale you were attributing to it. Also, while this isn't statistically significant, other larger population studies have been done which support to the point ( which may or may not be significant). Regardless, your apparent position doesn't even have a population as supportive as this one. In any event, while as this study may be slanted, your response is more slanted and lacks any facts as well.
  3. So this is the standard now? In any event, I couldn't disagree with you more, by the way, especially if you include CFB.
  4. Great..another hole on a 3 win team. WTF...
  5. The same guy had Spiller at #4, Bulaga at #8 and Clausen at #12
  6. Not pleased (and you mischaracterized my point in any event), but disappointed someone with your intellect resorts to insults of those who disagree with him. As to your point on Gruden/Billick/Gailey, there are over 3x the number of college head coaching position than there are professional jobs, yet he isn't getting a sniff (unlike the others mentioned on your list).
  7. ...and there are people who had hoped to throw an NFL coaching job to a B12 guy with a gimmick offense (yet successful) who like Pirates who happens to still be unemployed, despite public pleas to be considered for various jobs. It takes all types.
  8. No..not at all. I am just not willing to drink the Kool-Aid that Fitz is the savior based upon his performance to date. I give him all the credit in the world for what he has accomplished. Has it convinced me we could afford to pass up at premier QB prospect? Not at all.
  9. You can bang your head on the wall all you want, but you've proved absolutely nothing with this post. The posts referenced were here if I am not mistaken.
  10. I love them as much as the crowd that believes with certainty that a QB on a 2-9 is the next coming of Drew Brees and/or Tom Brady.
  11. If Buddy believes there is a franchise QB available, he will take him. It doesn't matter what he thinks of Fitz. All you have to do is look at SD and what he did when he had Brees.
  12. I am wondering when the S&C staff is going to start to get lit up about Maybin...
  13. http://omaha.com/article/20100908/SPORTS/709089803/0 Calling BS. They aren't getting returned because of his demands. This is an absolute joke: http://www.nationalchamps.net/NCAA/future_schedules/boisestate_future.htm
  14. Sorry, but Boise and TCU need to man up and did what Florida State did in the early 80's-play anyone on the road. They aren't willing to do this and are starting to believe their own hype (see Boise State's demand of $1m to play Nebraska).
  15. Five years of moral victories have led to no progress. While none of us know what the future holds, I'm of the opinion that these last few weeks are fool's gold and I'll be thrilled if we get a chance to draft Luck or Mallett. Also of note is the fact that UFA's have run from Buffalo the last ten years. That being said, I don't actively root against the Bills, but understand those that do.
  16. You don't know with any more certainty than the "Luck-lovers" what Andrew Luck will do. There have been reports both that he is staying and that he is leaving.
  17. Apparently, this is far from clear.. http://www.draftinsider.net/blog/?p=3279
  18. Yeah...it really is a "stupid statement" for someone to suggest that an 0-7 team consider taking a look at a 4th round OLB from a major program who was waived, by all accounts, due to roster balance issues. Keep digging.
  19. Yeah, I guess those old posts where you take people to task lie..like this one where you insult people for insinuating the Bills should take a look at an athletic OLB who got caught in a numbers game by all accounts. Sorry, my bad.
  20. For someone who claims to be the CFB guru, this is an ignorant statement.
  21. It loses all credibility when Stephen Paea is picked #2 overall and is the first defensive player taken.
