  1. Wow... As a start, if I were your brother, I'd make sure you were less ignorant and work on your reading comprehension. This is an incredible post, even by internet soapbox standards. As for the procedure, its called a Nebbia hold. The appearance in court shouldn't have been necessary; a tax return and a brokerage/bank accountant should have been sufficient. The Judge should release him based on what I assume are the aforementioned documents or a Petition for Habeas Corpus should follow next.
  2. That made me laugh...excellent! At least you have the Pope on your side now.
  3. Would love to see Scott Pioli get another crack at it.
  4. Let's put this to bed: "Here is how NFL spokesman Greg Aiello explained the GM contact rules, which are different than the coach contact rules: "A team is not obligated to grant another team permission to discuss employment with a high-level employee (GM, president or equivalent responsibilities) under contract. For other club employees who do not fall into the category of high-level employee, they may be interviewed for a GM position."http://www.nj.com/jets/index.ssf/2014/12/what_are_the_nfl_rules_for_jets_upcoming_contact_with_coach_general_manager_candidates.html
  5. Wrong. The difference is Sashi Brown is their top personnel man (i.e., control of the 53). You can't block the non-top personnel man if you are giving that control to the new position.
  6. Not according to Carolina beat reporter: https://twitter.com/josephperson?ref_src=twsrc%5Etfw&ref_url=http%3A%2F%2Fhfboards.hockeysfuture.com%2Fshowthread.php%3Ft%3D2203257%26page%3D27
  7. Yes it is...and this isn't the way to conduct business, especially one where your reputation is critical.
  8. Regardless of what you think of him, it is so ugly how they have handled the Whaley situation. If he is fired tomorrow, the way they left him hanging out there is classless.
  9. ...yeah...more picks suck. Picks are worthless...smh at the ignorance. Carry on...
  10. Not the end of the world, but really dumb, like the posts from those who don't understand that compensation system.
  11. If you don't think comp picks are significant and want to mock them, you clearly don't understand them.
  12. Yes. Every single consistent winner.
  13. Agreed. Kyle has $6.8m reasons to be on this team (not to mention he could possibly have to pay back some of his signing bonus if he retired). Additionally, it seems pretty clear that after the initial stance of no renegotiation, TT and his team realized he had to take a big cut one way or another. Personally, I think the Bills and TT had every intention of moving on from one another until the market for TT spoke.
  14. I'll disagree with you on this. He is on a short-term, relatively risk free 2 year contract. This screams we are drafting a future QB this year or next.
  15. Given what we've seen in the last two days (loss of 50% of secondary, starting wr/lb/other), is there any way we aren't entering into a rebuilding situation?
  16. I see, my apologies. So our future QB went undrafted, was passed over by the Browns as an undrafted free agent, signed with the Roughriders, left the Roughriders to be a GA with OKST and then finally got picked up as a 25 year old prodigy and now has reached Matt Cassell status, as future starting QB in waiting behind an All-Pro. Got it.. Yeah....you haven't knock Newton off the board yet.
  17. You provide some great comedy in slagging every QB prospect. Need I remind you that the savior you annointed last year, Graham Harrell, got released 2-3x (including by a CFL team) and is now the 4th QB/tackling dummy on GB?
