The notion that Allen looked "bad" yesterday is being exaggerated. So many of his balls were dropped yesterday, some in part due to his velocity. This isn't to say he doesn't need work, but the notion he had a bad practice seems a bit of a stretch.

Some of the seniors in our secondary (Butler and Martin) are developmental prospects. Martin offers some versatility and Butler might be looked at as a nickel, but both are UDFAs.

If reasonably certain, you give up whatever it takes to get your QB for the next 12-17years. It may set you back a year, but that year is a lost/learning curve year for the QB anyway.

Take your shot to move up and grab your QB. This is the first time in years we've had the ammo to pull something off and get a QB who can lead us for a decade or more. I love this team and TT is incredible how he handled a difficult situation, but this isn't sustainable in the long-term without a QB.
