  1. He turned four tackles into guards and is now calling it depth....
  2. I understand your point, but you aren't accounting for the loss of historic value at the qb position by taking one in the 2nd round as opposed to trading up.
  3. Yes...let's use fanspeak to draft for us and ignore everything about QBs we know.
  4. OP keeps his money buried in yard; doesn't trust banks! Just kidding...
  5. I'll ignore the insult and bite. They let the UFA's go because they had no other choice. They have $15m in space, which going to the UFA period put them at 25th in the league. Furthermore, please read the Rodak article on ESPN, where there is some thought that with Edelman coming back, the unit won't have much of a setback. They will recoup the talent with 5 picks in the top 100 or so, where I believe they will look to find an OT, a DT, a DE and at least one CB. In short, in order to get better, they need to get better on defense and fill the Solder hole.
  6. Happy to help you.... 1. Please see their current cap situation. http://www.spotrac.com/nfl/new-england-patriots/cap/ ; 2. If you had read the thread, some Pats fans believe they will be just fine with Gronk/Edelman/Hogan/White; and 3. They have significant holes on the OL/DL/Secondary.
  7. If you can't keep up with the conversation and the thread, the kId's table is always available to you. I don't take anyone who has "mafia" in there handle seriously.
  8. Is DT the bigger need over CBs and Edge? Jesus, I have so much respect for how the Pats create options for themselves.
  9. Can you imagine the backlash if the dealt Brady’s top WR (arguable, I guess) for a future QB in the last days of the best QB ever, after losing so much in the free agency period and, even before that, needing so much on D? This is about the final run and beefing up, not rebuilding. A QB in the second or later? I can buy it, but they aren’t competitors for our guy, whichever one of the four it is.
  10. They need OT, CB and DL help. I think they are reloading for the last run.
  11. I find it fascinating that every draft analyst, the ones who have never been employed by an NFL team, hate Allen, while nearly every team at the top of the draft is debating whether to take him.
  12. Wow...interesting thread. Glad I am not the OP's dog or kid.
  13. Who is Kyle Crabbs? Nobody based on his bio: https://www.linkedin.com/in/kyle-crabbs-346514a1/
  14. Chris Brown had the Bills taking OJ Howard, Jarran Reed, Donovan Smith (2nd Round) and Eric Ebron in the last 4 drafts. It is pretty clear they don't let him in the room prior to the actual draft (as would be expected).
  15. This kid needs an agent more than anyone in the draft.
  16. I would keep Brown/Bell/Roethlisberger together as long as they are competitive, with the tag as a preferred method.
