  1. If only this was followed more 'regularly.' Better to draft talent in an area of strength than a dud in an area of weakness. If nothing else, you have an opportunity to get value back via trade etc.
  2. "It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A. It's fun to stay at the Y-M-C-A.....A"
  3. Nah. simply based on draft position and shameless self promotion..... Maybin is in a class far ahead of McCargo. Both have stunk....but one seems to think he is a 'force' to be feared.
  4. Unfortunately...the Patriots are the obvious choice. I think that potential move would be the 'curse breaker' we all need. Maybin has shown the Bills/fans a big fat zero. Cut him now and move on. Hopefully he unleashes some of his 'mayhem' elsewhere. I.e. wrecking his own team's future/salary cap etc.
  5. Agreed. Hilarious. Between this comment and your "Bring back the lockout" in the 'Just lost another one' thread...... you're on a roll.
  6. first round selections are treasures....provided you get them right. Maybin is a major fail.....and the hindsight (or forsight for you and others) makes it all the more painful.
  7. that's really a great article. thanks. I see now where you're coming from. Hopefully with new talent and new coaches (Wanny) Williams will outperform last years exceptional effort. Personally, I still love him as a pure nose but with so much specialization he should only get better. He's a playmaker.....let him play.
  8. who has to say it?.....he's been there for a while now. http://www.nfl.com/news/story/09000d5d82087581/article/top-interior-defensive-linemen-feature-distinct-skill-sets
  9. Dude played his butt off last year in that role and went to the pro bowl...... and garnered more league/media attention than in any prior season. I think he'll be OK with it. Besides.....he's gonna maul whoever is in front of him anyway.
  10. THERE....now I'm finished.
  11. Ralph has been accused of being cheap....but never senile........wait a minute
  12. alright then....back to spending mode.
  13. thought the post was hilarious. Now..... the secondary issues between posters here seem to have gained traction long before this thread and it is an interesting read. Count me as having been around here for a long time but I post very little/read a lot. For what it's worth, I think PTR, John, WEO and the like are all good posters who have 'entertained' me, and presumably others, for a long time. The point I see is that reviewing history is a dicey play. A wise man told me once you only need two things in life to be successful: First, you need to be able to read. Second....you have to have 20/20 hindsight. We all get overly excited or overly depressed at times. It's human nature/error. The 'retrospectoscope' only magnifies the errors/ignorance/success of our stances. In a very Breakfast Club sense, all Bills fans/posters have been a pacifist, a homer, a yes man, a dissenter/hater and a cheerleader. Save your 'passion' for the trolls.....
  14. ...a Ballad of the Ball Turret Gunner reference? regardless....love the visual.
  15. two words for that reporter......EPIC FAIL.
  16. to borrow from a well known source..... "It's not a question of where he grips it. It's a simple question of weight ratios. A five ounce bird, could not carry a one pound coconut." Along those loosely interpreted lines, I agree with you. 5'11'' is typically 'bigger.'
  17. " i whore the jersey for the unveiling and it can be seen on the bills websit" True...that whole 'description' is quite a collection of humor. seems like he had to be bombed when he typed it.
  18. for the price he's asking the jersey would almost have to come with some benefits....
  19. Why in the world is this in plain english? You guys just giving the information away? Anyone knows you should be using basic code at least.....pig latin anyone?
  20. Agreed. I realize this 'helps' my team....but I hate to see injury rob a player (friend or foe) of his career.....and his career was a very good one. I'd rather have Jenkins on the field and figure out a way to beat him.
  21. Prayers for you and your family....for peace in a difficult time.
  22. I don't really care about the Redskins demise but your three questions are good ones. For the first time in a very long time I actually feel like there is a plan at One Bills Drive. Hope is bears fruit over the next few years.
  23. I couldn't decide on 'Carrie on' or Carrion. Either way....sarcasm is now off.
  24. I told you in the other thread 'you got me' with the spelling stuff. I bit on the hook. Just calling "you're" bluff here. I like the spelling stuff better by the way. Carrie on.
