  1. Actually, per Bill Shakespeare, that would be step one.... The first thing we do, lets kill all the lawyers. Shakespeare, William
  2. given very little details (as you pointed out) my main concern is in qualifying what he meant by 90% in terms of the 'trajectory' of recovery. -If he has steadily improved since surgery and continues to inch forward (he is better now than a month ago, week ago etc.) ....my guess is he is fine to play. -If he, at some point prior, was 'better' and has dropped back to 'only' being 90% that would be much more of a concern to me. Hard to say anything concrete for obvious reasons but my suspicion is the former. If he had taken a step back in recovery, the team would/should exercise caution. To echo what the captain said....groin injuries can be a nightmare. It's hard to accelerate, cut, push off tacklers etc. with that type of injury...and they can be very stubborn to heal. I'm sure he has been cleared medically and it is just a matter of how he feels. At present, he's 90%. Could all just be Stevie playing a little mind games with Mr. Island as well.
  3. But....but....Republicans hate women.
  4. Congrats. Sounds like you're 'cousin' may have guided you a bit here as well. Enjoy!
  5. Stadium opinions aside....that is some funny ****. I'm still laughing five minutes later.
  6. Crazy indeed. This kind of media 'reporting' brings 'wagging the dog' to an entirely different level.
  7. This is like smoking a joint.....but not inhaling. Stupid.
  8. Looks like the state department is 'expanding' (funny....government just keeps making everything bigger) the code. http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2012/08/30/state-department-hold-down-fort-other-common-phrases-could-be-offensive/
  9. Are you nuts? You gotta use a match. Bunch of fools on this board.
  10. Indeed he might be.....provided it's just you and him in the room.
  11. For the record, my two boys are very disappointed that the 'frog' no longer has crazy eyes. Perhaps they were under his spell.....

  13. very funny 'Chef'.....very funny. Seriously. I laughed out loud.
  14. If so....mea culpa. Never mind that. I'll really get killed if I apologize on here.
  15. It is finished.... "I" am now Jim Kelly's gigantic head and a small helmet. As for the prior avatar.....let's just stop any comparisons right there.
  16. Yeah....that's what I said. Wasn't implying it was gutsy...nor do I pretend to know the details of every intelligence meeting leading up to the assault on the compound. My comment is more towards the policy of shoot first and ask questions later; in response to Doc's post. Not whether to send troops in or 'cancel' again. I imagine the President had some say in whether or not they would make any attempt to bring him back alive. In 'that' case, I suspect 'they' decided to shoot first. It's bullet justice. No trial, low costs and very effective justice. It's also perfectly reasonable (in my mind) given the atrocities committed by the target and the admissions of guilt re: same.
  17. So..... is this the type of treatment "Uncle" Thurman Thomas can expect from 'progressive' football fans? Because....he has to be a sell out..... right? No independent thinking in his head at all.
  18. Apparently so did the President. In this situation....I'd say Obama served the U.S. people well.
  19. seven of the funniest words I've read in a while. LOL.
  20. Not sure if you mean on this board....or in the media. Skip Bayless said we could 'book it.' http://dallas.sbnation.com/texas-longhorns/2012/5/11/3014650/vince-young-free-agent-rumors
