  1. Numbers are tough as pointed out above. I'd say success is that he "looks" like a solid NFL starter at the end of his rookie year. He'll have proved he can play at this level and still has lots of room on the upside.

  4. Very fair. He was a good 'soldier' as a Buffalo Bill. At his age, however, we have better options with youth. Good assessment of his time here, however.
  5. He's certainly not 'typical' in terms of how he generates separation at the line. Hopefully, this stuff settles out and he remains healthy.
  6. A grade 1 strain is not a 'serious' injury. It should heal quickly with rest and treatment. He'll get better. The question is whether or not he's going to have chronic 'tweaks' of his hammies. I tore my hamstring about 5 years ago and it's never been the same. I run a lot and it bothers me consistently all this time later. Hopefully, he gets well and stays well. This 'recovery' should be fairly quick based on what has been reported.

  9. Strong work. Win every day! I get to about the 5th frame of the Bills' games and can't stand that they never pick up a spare. Hopefully, this year will be different.

  11. True. Acknowledging the problem from one's own perspective is often the key to rehab.
  12. You're right. When folks use the term 'pull' it generally is understood to mean more than just a 'strain.' The official grading of these, however, is 'strain' at every level....even complete tear. No worries.

  14. there are a few 'levels' of strain. I.e. grade 1; grade 2. Rupture of the muscle 'body' is the worst. i.e. grade 3. "Pull" is a non-medical term to describe the 'same' thing. A mild 'pull' would be grade 1 etc. Here's a link with a few details.
