  1. There is only one thing that ticked me off today - Allen's fumble. Protect the damn ball. Every single play, protecting the ball is JOB ONE. That was a game changer. You can't give the ball away deep in your own end and win football games - ask Philadelphia (vs. Dallas). Not at home, not on the road, not anywhere, not ever.
  2. SLIDE - no reason for Allen to take that hit in the first place - live for another down.
  3. I admired the gutsy call to try for the go-ahead TD, but a nearly certain 3 points certainly would have been the smarter decision. Coaching decisions today were about as desperate as Allen's decisions. We need to stop being desperate when playing the Patriots - just be smart - they can be beaten - especially when our defense plays this well.
  4. Yep, completely agree - was wondering myself why Gore stopped getting touches - coaching not blameless to be sure.
  5. Allen needs to stop trying to be a hero - both running and passing. Once he figures that out, he may have a good career. This was the type of game that could have been won simply by not making dumb mistakes with the football. Punt and live for the next drive - don't make (needless) desperate throws. Not giving up on Allen by any means, but if doesn't start to play smarter football, he's not going to last. I hate to see such a fine defensive effort wasted by a special teams blunder and Allen being careless with the football - it is inexcusable and has to be fixed and fast.
  6. Being a Republican, myself, I really only noticed that NE's TEs and slot receivers were talented, had good hands, ran good routes and were good blockers. I hadn't ever considered their color as a defining trait like a democrat might do.
  7. Please, no - that anti-American POS shouldn't even be in the country, let alone on an NFL roster.
  8. Yeah, I get what you're saying. I think he could develop into a fine QB, too - not suggesting he couldn't. But, the guy has such impressive speed and size and Buffalo really needs a TE with these kinds of measurables. If his hands aren't made of stone and if he can block and run routes, a guy with his measurables could be a perennial pro-bowler at TE - yes, way too early to speculate on that. I just would like to see what he can do there - seems worth a look, to me, at least. If Buffalo wants to develop him at QB, great - no problem with that.
  9. 6’ 7” and 249 pounds 40-yard dash: 4.59 Hand Size: 10 1/4” Maybe Buffalo found its "Gronk" in Tyree Jackson - would love to see him switch to TE and see what he can do there.
  10. Pretty fast! https://www.patsfans.com/new-england-patriots/messageboard/threads/did-bob-kraft-just-get-busted-for-a-prostitution-sting.1147801/page-9 "Jesus, a a billionaire owner gets caught getting a *****. I am sure none of the other 31 owners have ever done anything like this. It’s a misdemeanor.. its an embarrassment. Nothing is going to happen to the team." lol - you called it!
  11. For *****'s sake - please recall Jason Peters did NOT WANT TO BE IN BUFFALO. What the hell was Buffalo brass to do? They did what they could.
  12. No, so-called "Bills fans" will die on this hill when Peterman goes on a tear in Vegas. The only thing I hate about being a Buffalo Bills fans is other Bills fans. You ride a 5th round pick out-of-town in only his 2nd season. You're all a bunch of #######s for that.
  13. Yes, Peterman will land on his feet, too - probably in New England is my guess.
  14. Save for a TD against the Colts last season before he got himself knocked out of the game, Peterman has been horrible in other games that have counted. However, consider this about Peterman: He's still a young guy at 24 yrs and only in his 2nd season. In his very short time here, he's already had 2 OCs and 2 different offensive systems and terminology. He was a 5th round draft pick - the expectations fans have put on this guy are over the top (including, admittedly, my own). The guy needs time to develop just as about any QB drafted in the 5th round would need. In 2017, Peterman started only 2 games and appeared in 2 other games and this season he has started 1 game and appeared in 2 others. So, his entire regular season appearances are 3 starts plus 4 more appearances. Are we going to judge a guy's entire career on 3 starts? He's shown he's capable, but he needs to do it when it counts, obviously. However, I still think it is too early to cast him off. And I can still remember the video of the Charger player last season saying "He literally didn't block me". I will never concede that Peterman gets the blame for all 5 of those picks - maybe 2 of them. Over his regular season career, he has 3 TDs and 9 picks. That's not good, of course, but I'm not ready to write him off yet. It's too early. He clearly worked hard in the off-season to improve his core strength and arm strength. He is very intelligent. The coaches really like him still, I believe. He's the ultimate "team guy" and will do whatever is asked of him. He envisioned being named the starter all along and that is what drove him to win the job against the Ravens. Now, he just needs to add a little thing to his sports meditation - envision WINNING, too! I want to see what Peterman can do. Now that the games are not so critical (unless someone thinks the Bills can win out - don't think so), maybe he can settle down and play more like he is capable of. I think it can happen and am certainly hoping it does! Go Peterman! You are now Buffalo's QB - go and WIN!!
  15. Buffalo will look like a more desirable destination for free-agent WRs! Edit: I was one of the posters who wanted to see Peterman get the 1st game start. I'll say, simply, I was wrong! Allen is clearly the best guy for the starting job. I still think Peterman can become a good backup, but he has to prove it when it counts. The TD against the Colts last year was great, but he has to play better and more consistently in games that matter to become starter material. I don't want to write him off yet and still think he can develop his game - he's a young guy, too. But, results matter. Tough league. Go Allen!!
  16. Coach McD says there's a "time and a place" for taking a risk like that -- well, I'd say that was the right time and place. 0-2 to start the season, playing a supposed superior opponent in their own building and desperate for a win to keep the season alive. He's got a nice 17-0 lead at this point and facing a 3rd-and-10, but facing a Minnesota team that certainly has the ability to stage a comeback over Buffalo. So, Allen did what was necessary to get the 1st down which eventually led to a TD and a 24-0 commanding lead. It was EXACTLY the correct time and place for that play!!! If this season ends up amounting to something, one could argue that this play helped to cement the season. Allen made a good decision to hurdle for the 1st down! Nice tattoo, btw!
  17. Sorry, but I hope you lose! No real Bills fan would ever bet against own team.
  18. True - not difficult to quickly come to this conclusion. I'm still amazed we got a 3rd rounder for him.
  19. Drove up from Florida for game this weekend and was passing by Cleveland and listening to some local sports radio station and they were saying stuff like Tyrod "holds onto the ball too long", "leaves plays on the field", and does "not throw with anticipation". Hmm, does all of this sound slightly familiar?!! One game into the season and they pretty much already have Tyrod's game summed up nicely.
  20. EVERY game is winnable.
  21. Hey, that's almost exactly what AG Sessions is saying on his Twitter page!! https://twitter.com/AGJefffSessions I trust both plans - McDermott's & Sessions'.
  22. Yes, remember last year, Peterman was (I'm fairly certain) the ONLY QB that Belichick took a serious look at pre 2017 draft - that SAYS something and I don't care what anyone says. Peterman is a starting talent in the NFL and I want him on the Bills for the long term - to back up Josh or to start when needed - whatever - we need to keep him. He's a very good QB and Buffalo needs to keep him. I rate the QBs 1. Josh, 2. Peterman, 3. McCarron - and if Peterman ends up starting a few games while Josh develops a bit more, he'll do fine and probably excel. However, Josh is looking very good. https://patriotswire.usatoday.com/2017/04/11/what-to-make-of-patriots-decision-to-work-out-pitt-qb-nathan-peterman/
