  1. Here is map of Bills' region:
  2. Anyone who stomps on Terry Bradshaw's head is okay with me! 😀 Quote from The Washington Post: "The bad thing is I'm from Pittsburgh and when I was growing up, Jack Lambert and Terry Bradshaw were my idols," Haslett said. "Anybody who has asked me if I did it on purpose, I would say I slipped or something. But the truth is, I knew if they scored again we were never going to beat them. So one of the players accidentally ripped his helmet off, and his head was exposed so I kicked him. It wasn't the best thing to do. My family was getting into fights in the stands. I couldn't go home for a couple off-seasons." http://voices.washingtonpost.com/dcsportsbog/2010/01/jim_haslett_stepped_on_terry_b.html
  3. ALL of them - including Beasley!!
  4. That could be because the information may not be trustworthy or is at minimum at least challengeable. Sometimes, our institutions fail us - wouldn't be the 1st time and won't be the last. As citizens in a free society, we have the right (really, a duty) to demand proof and to challenge claims. Do your own research.
  5. Yeah, he's just a selfish punk - playing on a broken leg down the final stretch of the season and laying it all out for his teammates - how incredibly selfish of him. There's this thing called The Bill of Rights - maybe some of you need to re-read it.
  6. Bob Chandler - would have been a perennial pro-bowler on a better team.
  7. Jacob Blake had a knife in his hand ALREADY and was going for a gun in vehicle. Only wonder is why he wasn't shot even sooner. Sorry, not honoring these ***** ****heads like Blake and Floyd. An aside - looters should be shot on sight, too.
  8. I predict a massive increase in sign-ups for youth QB camps ?
  9. The NFL and its franchises receive millions of dollars per year from the US military: https://www.cheatsheet.com/money-career/amount-money-military-gives-nfl.html/ It's such a good promotional opportunity for the military that I don't see the arrangement changing, but I would love to see the US military give the middle finger to the NFL and just end all of their promotional events and affiliations with NFL franchises until such time as the NFL takes a firm stand against protesting the American flag, the anthem and our nation. I won't be attending or watching any games this season - not until the political BS stops. Kinda bummed-out about that because the Bills have a promising team this season, but, at least for me, this feels like the right thing to do. I've been a fan since the late 60's, so maybe a year away will be good while the NFL comes to the realization that they are destroying their own brand. I'll likely still lurk around here, but not giving my dollars to the NFL in the form of tickets, merchandise or watching their paid television advertising - not this year.
  10. Ok, my bad - missed the "private" vs. 'public' aspect, so I take back the part of my statement about the poor vetting by Bills. But, this changes nothing - cat is out of the bag now - can't undo this no how, no way, so I stand by the part of my statement that says he must be cut.
  11. If it is true, just cut him. That's the only statement that can be made that these kinds of views - even if said jokingly in social media, are simply unacceptable. It's the only way to move forward and keep this team together. Also, if it's true, ***** job by Bills in vetting the guy - should have understood by now that social media needs to be scanned meticulously prior to drafting a guy. I sure hope is fake. Dividing the team cannot happen and he must go if this is accurate - it's that simple.
  12. James Lofton was my top pick here. Buffalo wanted to draft him and just missed out to Green Bay. Phil Villapiano comes to mind, also.
  13. Dak Prescott is a good QB and many teams would be glad to have him, but his QB talent is not worth this kind of money, imo. There goes about 17% per year of your salary cap on ONE guy (averaged over 5 seasons). QB is very important, but at the end of the day, he is still 1/11th of the offense. He is not nearly as much of a "difference maker" compared to a guy like Mahomes. He's not the kind of player who can single-handedly make everyone around him better. The Cowboys will live to regret this contract if it goes through. Just my opinion. I could be wrong.
  14. According to the article on NFL.com, over the past two seasons, on-sides kicks have been successful 10.4% of the time (higher than I expected, honestly). According to Football Outsiders, the average rate of success of a 4th-and-15 scenario is 12.5%. So, effectively, the proposed rule change increases the odds of keeping the football by only 2.1%, but teams risk giving the opponent the ball on the 25-yd line (instant field goal range for the opponent) instead of somewhere closer to mid-field with a failed on-sides kick. I don't know if the proposed rule change really provides enough incentive to try it, so I don't see it so much as a "reward" for the trailing team - it's a very risky thing to try. On the other hand, if your QB has a hot hand in the 4th suddenly, maybe you try it in those situations. Not sure I like it, but not dead-set against it, either. I would add a couple of requirements - you must have just scored a TD on the previous play and not a field goal to "earn" the right to attempt the 4th-and-15 and it should not be an option on an opening kickoff of either half. Actually, I wouldn't allow it in the 1st half at all (not that teams would even consider that).
  15. It's actually a giant flying saucer ... you know, to make their next move easier.
  16. Just let the guy compete - fairly - for a spot on the team. If he earns a spot, keep him. If he doesn't release him. But there is no need to pre-judge. I, for one, want to see him given a genuine opportunity to make the squad in any capacity that makes sense.
  17. Mike Stratton Jack Kemp Jim Kelly Bruce Smith
  18. Buffalo has zero opponents coming off a bye week and zero opponents coming off of a Thursday game. I don't recall both of these happening in same season. No opponent will have a significant preparation-time edge or a significant rest edge over Buffalo in 2020.
  19. Oil less than $1 (that's correct - ONE DOLLAR) a barrel right now. Oil futures have even gone NEGATIVE for like the first time ever. This must have a lot to do with Pegula's financial woes. Thank you MSM for scaring the crap out of everyone over the virus - now Buffalo could lose one or both franchises over the economic woes - crazy. I don't think will happen, but we need to open the country back up and SOON!
  20. Good point! The other annoying thing about that game was Ronnie Harmon was wide open in the end zone on the next play (I think), but Kelly had lost confidence in him and didn't throw it his way - always wonder what would have happened if Kelly gave him another chance there.
  21. Belichick has done much in the past with what may have appeared to be an average roster at the start of a given season. I don't think the Patriots can ever be counted out while he is HC.
  22. 100% Brady leaves the Pats. It's not about the $ at this point. It's about proving he can be a winner w/o Belichick. Unfortunately, for Brady, he waited too long to separate - his skills are diminished and he won't take another team to a championship. Belichick, on the other hand, will have continued success - especially with his *real* ace-in-the-hole - Ernie Adams. Also, Kraft's legal issues not going away soon and *if* the NFL ever gets around to punishing the Pats* for latest video-taping scandal, that has some potential to weaken the product this coming season. If I'm Brady, I want OUT.
  23. Bring back the Courier Express! :)
  24. Hey, that very cool! The power of social media! Thanks for that!!
