All these players probably wouldn't be active even if they did make the roster. Add another Olineman and we're set. Giles seems sensible as a vet pickup.

Well im here in San Diego, CA. Not the farthest but a great spot!

Gas has fell over $2 now in Honolulu. At peak it was $4.40 (that just Oahu -- more like $5 on Kauai/Maui). Is currently now $2.28 on base and 2.40-2.50 in town.

Only Buffalo Can Do This . . .
bills4sb replied to BenchBledsoe's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It's clear we're mediocre. But it's just so f'in annoying to hear tools on ESPN say oh wide right just like bills fans have heard before...f* them -
I'm still thinking.

Tough to find any positives right now. It's all mental.

UNBELIEVABLE! -
Would you trade M. Lynch for......
bills4sb replied to UncleBuff's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I wouldn't. Why would you? -
Why not? Butler and Chambers are both similiar in size and both are or once were tackles (I believe Butler played T in college) so I would expect the same type of play should Chamber start at RG. Only thing is, do we activate Bell as our main backup tackle then?

Yeah, it's just amazing to me how everybody's on the Miami bandwagon now. ESPN typically overrates them, especially now since they're playing so well. Teams go through peaks and valleys throughout the season, and I think that Miami has hit their peak now. No way are they a top six team in the AFC at years end.
-
Lets not forget the tackling in that game was atrocious. Also, Denver's defense is terrible this year.
-
Seems like it cause on the 1st INT by Edwards I watched Jenkins just move him out of the way, rush edwards, cuase an early ill advised throw and 7 points for the enemy. He must pick up his game.
-
After watching the game again Peters was not the issue. Yes he had one false start penalty but lets face it Whittle is not a very good backup, i mean he just gets dominated. And Dockery has been no all star either.

Definitely won't lose sleep over this one.

O-Line is filled with mistakes in free agency & draft
bills4sb replied to VJ91's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
If we sign Greer then that makes DB less of a need next year, hopefully giving McKelvin more time to develop but I suspect if he isn't able to crack the top 3 next year then im not sure what to say... I think the o-line is more continuity than anything. Peters missed all off season workouts, that has proven to be disasterous. He still has two years left on his deal after this year making him less of a priority and Greer more of one. WE MUST KEEP GREER. Also don't forget Butler has been out for two weeks and nothing against Whittle, but he's like 280 and just got manhandled on several plays last week. I think we can all agree Butler is better than Whittle. I'm holding out hope the line will find its groove this week. As for FA centers, are there any good ones this year? I say we draft a C on day one of the draft. -
So yeah, ummm, another Peters post!

No I don't think the standards have changed. Everyone in the stadium knew we were running the ball on that 4th & 1 (i guess thats the key situation you're referring to) including the jet D putting like 8-9 guys in the box. I will have to review the game again tonite to see how jason did. We were just plain out coached this game. -

I don't know, but he sure as hell wasn't the reason we lost. The blind side was not the problem here. -

This was the same line that gave up a franchise low in sacks last year like 25 or so...so what happened between last year and this year I guess is the main problem here. It's been beat to a dead horse that we need a dominating center and hopefully we get one someway. Preston and Fowler are average back-ups! -
A Few Thoughts About The Game
bills4sb replied to Bill from NYC's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
don't worry, now that there's film on Fine he wont have another catch this year -
We need to figure out a way to keep Greer on our team next year. He's been lockdown this year.
-
Agree, it's unbelieavable to me that we suck at running the ball. Especially when I watch a team like Tenessee with no passing game be able to just run like crazy. Think maybe losing McNally hurt??, i mean even our pass blocking has been below average too after last year we set a franchise record for least amount of sacks given up... Whats the f'in deal??

There's nothing wrong with Jason Peter's play....
bills4sb replied to BEAST MODE BABY!'s topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Agreed. I watched the game three times and Peters did dominate Porter 67 out of 68 plays. The safety Dockery just stood there while Porter ran by him. Porter just wanted it more that day. Watch Peters tomorrow. Lets not run our best lineman out of town.
