My point is that there is no loyalty to anything anymore. Is it really going to hurt the Dodgers that much to reward this guy for nearly 50 years of loyalty to this team? How many of those years did the Dodgers absolutely suck? Most of them. You can make any bullsh-- analagy you want to justify this but I still think it's crap and that the Dodger organization is quickly becoming a major joke!

He wasn't a Brooklyn fan. Read the article again. He sent his check when he found out they were moving to LA. He was in LA not Brooklyn. I think this guy is getting screwed. He's a war veteran who has worked hard for everything he has. He even gave up tickets throughout the year for different charities and for others to enjoy. If you don't think he's getting screwed then you have no heart. I agree with Fez. Jealousy, that's simply all that it is.

I think he'll struggle to start but get consistently better as the season goes on and he grows into his position mentally. I think that's where he will struggle most. He seems to have all the physical attributes to succeed but how long will it take him to get his head where it needs to be. Let's hope it's sooner than later.

Being a lifelong Yankee fan from WNY I never got to a game growing up. It was always a dream of mine. Two and a half years ago I was working on Long Island for a week. The Yankees were on a home stand against the Orioles and I went to all four games. It was one of the most incredible moments in my life. Put tears in my eyes just walking up to the stadium and going through monument park was awesome. Best thing was I got into all four games free with my military ID card. Say what you want about George but he does a lot for people that people never see. Great seats too. On a side note, I saw the actual Amittyville Horror house too. Creepy!

Carrie's hot dude. Nadia is too. You have to remember that last night they were getting into the timeframe of their songs. I grew up during those years so Carrie's porn start big hair reminded me of a lot of pretty faces from high school that were "close friends" of mine.... Actually I am married and I watch the show, not my wife. Who in todays age has only one tv in the house? Some people just B word to B word. If the shoe fits..... and if not.....

What's funny to me is all the people like JSP that talk about how much this show sucks and how bad the singers are yet they STILL watch it. If you're just going to b!tch about it then simply turn the channel.

Soriano is a stud. I still wish we'd have kept him. Cabrera didn't do anything spectacular for Boston last year. Tough choice but I'd keep Soriano.

Be careful about expenses too. "Fixer upers" can end up being way more expensive than you think. For example, we wanted to replace the laminate counter tops in the kitchen of the new house we just bought and put granite or some other "hard" type surface. I have a very small kitchen counter space wise and it would've cost us nearly 7,000 bones! So unless you have a lot of time to fix it up or if you want to do it faster think about all the costs... just my .02...
