  1. Could be, but.....

The Saviors aren't stupid. In order to pull off that trick and still be short the 2 guns Spencer stole, they would have needed to create a separate inventory book after hiding and before Spencer stole them/Saviors early arrival/less than a week. This would mean the book would look too new for the Saviors to trust it. The old one would have looked worn and weathered with pages flipped through.

Still, there are at least 3 extra graves because Glenn and Abe are at the Hilltop. I'm sure they would have left the rocket launcher in "Savior" inventory because they were fresh out of rockets. Moron Darryl torched the lake with one instead of using...well...I don't know....a match?

What I didn't get is why did they even tell them they kept an inventory? I know they're very organized with everything else but if they wouldn't have told them about "the book" they could've gotten away with hiding more of them.

  2. I'm already growing weary of Negan's blustering about. I guess I should have stayed up for Talking Dead so Hardwick could talk me through it.

There needs to be a uniting of Alexandria, the Hilltop, and the Kingdom pretty damned quick because I can't take much more of Negan's spooge all over Rick's face.

I'm with you and said something about it earlier. Ok, we get it, Negan rules all. But in order to keep interest in the show up people aren't going to want to watch a bunch of episodes in a row where everyone is just blowing Negan because he's a bad ass. This show is about survival so eventually they're going to have to start formulating plans to fight back.

You'd think...but Rick ain't exactly in a good head space right now.

You don't have to fake a grave. You only have to fake a headstone.

And you may not even have to fake that. Did Negan ever find out Maggie's name?

I don't think so. He referred to her as "the sick girl" last night. But who knows what Negan really knows.

  4.

I recall in Season 5 - they were on the road and the Washington Monument was shown in the background which is why I thought Alexandria meant the town.

Another point to add - if they are indeed in Virginia, they are not only in the middle of multiple military and law enforcement headquarters and major installations but also multiple manufacturers of small arms and ammunition.

    And it snows in Virginia.

  5. I didn't really care much for this episode. Negan cucking Rick the whole episode is a little over the top, but I suppose it leads to different things. Rick has completely given in to Negan, we get it. But now I wonder if they won't attempt to find another way to fight back. Obviously with no guns they will have trouble scavenging and if Negan is going to threaten to kill someone if they don't have something "interesting" for them when they return then their fate is pretty much sealed. I have an idea where the comics go but they don't always follow true to the comic. And the "shocking reveal" was something we all already knew in regards to Ricks daughter.

  6. I had a customer last week that was looking at a 2017 Traverse. Opted to buy a used 16 because the new Chevy's will not have CD players anymore. In fairness to him, he was an older gentleman who despises technology.

  7. I enjoyed the episode a lot too. Really did some decent character building from the new community that plays a major role in the comic. Totally broke away from the doom and gloom of the previous episode. I love that they were feeding the pigs for negan's group with walkers... That was awesome! Looks like next week we get a lot of the plight of Darryl and his captivity with Negan. Could be another dark one.

  8. I know I'm a little late in answering this but I guess Aaron would have been the least sad death to see. Though I knew they were going to go with someone bigger than him. And yeah, I tried not to follow the spoilers because I wanted to be surprised so I didn't know it had to be someone on Rick's right side.

Looks like this is going to be a fun TWD season which is good because if this ends up being another disappointing Bills season it will be nice to have something to look forward to on Sunday nights.

I feel the same way. When we lost this week I told myself, "at least TWD is back tonight", which is sad...

  9. Speaking of rip offs, my son has been driving my old Camry for years but just came up against repairs approaching $1,000 for a car with 160,000 miles. Time for a new car. He has a great job and good but limited credit with a score over 700. Since he's never had a car payment before (due to sucker parents) his loan rate was anywhere from 17.5%-20%. My wife happened into Nashville an hour later and confirmed this, but when she co-signed the rate dropped to 3.5%. He was putting 30% down, and the best rate they had at CarMax for a 700+ credit score with zero other debt was 17.5%? Reallly???

That's crazy! I'm a Business Manager now at a dealership and do financing. His rate on his own should've been around 6% with no prior auto history. The max markup is 2% so 17.5 - 20 doesn't sound right to me at all. I'm not sure how CarMax works, but traditional indirect lending through a dealership would've yielded better results. And for the record, your wife co-signing would significantly lower the rate just as it did. It's the lack of auto history and a light credit file that hurt your son.

  10. After watching it, I was thinking they could have alleviated all the hatred about last season's finale by showing the Abraham kill and ending it. Would have seriously caught people off guard if season one started after that kill

That would've been pretty brilliant. Show Abe getting killed at the end, let people stew over it, and then continue with the season premier and go to the Glen kill.... People would've lost it!

  11. Just finished the first season of "Queen of the South" on USA. It was pretty good. Didn't seem like a huge budget, but looking forward to season 2. Also, a couple more interesting USA shows coming soon, The Shooter and Eyewitness.

Watched the first 2 episodes of "Designated Survivor", so far pretty entertaining.

LOVE this show. It's in that rare spot for me that when it's over I'm pissed I have to wait another week for the next one.
