Latest drone video from 10/21. Looking pretty cool. However, if that’s the extent of the overhang, it will cover very little of the lower bowl, if any. -
5 Cities Tried to Steal The Bills From WNY
Jukester replied to ExiledInIllinois's topic in The Stadium Wall
She doesn’t say which 5 cities She also says “we’re [the state] in for $650M of what will be a well over $2B stadium.” What?? No other detail given on what caused such crazy overruns of what started at $1.4B -
It’s concerning. Can you get away with it with lesser teams like the Titans….yes. But it doesn’t bode well for matchups with the top teams.

What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?

What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?
Jukester replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good discussion. I wasn’t trying to create a conspiracy theory with my OP. It was just perplexing to me that he hasn’t been seeing the field at all once he got healthy, not even that he should be starting, especially considering that he was regarded as a key FA signing After reading all the comments and thinking about it more, it probably boils down to a combination of things: 1. I do believe that it takes a lot to gain McD’s trust. players that have been in the system have an inherent advantage. 2. Edwards’ injuries in OTA and training camp put him behind and didn’t allow him to compete early on. 3. In season opportunities for Edwards to impress in practice are limited because he’s not practicing with the first team. 3. The other safeties - Hamlin and Bishop, while not great, have played just well enough to keep McD happy and keep Edwards on the bench. Rapp seems to be playing really well since he came back from the concussion. Having said all that, it would be nice if he got on the field a bit to see what he’s got, even if it’s to spell the others or in garbage time. -
Yeah I’m with you. Cutting him is needed now, but before the Cooper trade, they could’ve at least used him more down the field. I really don’t get this coaching staff.

What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?
Jukester replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall
If he’s not good enough to beat out Hamlin or rookie Cole Bishop (both of whom have been ripped for poor play right here on this board) then why go out and get him in free agency. It’s an indictment either way.- 142 replies

What exactly is the real story with Mike Edwards?
Jukester replied to Jukester's topic in The Stadium Wall
Good point. If this is true then he'd actually be 3rd string since when Rapp got injured, Cole Bishop got the start in Week 5 against Houston and Edwards got 1 snap On point 1, you're absolutely correct. That's why we come to TBD and discuss our opinions. On point 2, I have no problem with that. But in this case Edwards never got to compete in training camp due to injury so if that's the way it works then so be it. I still think he'd be valuable on the field even rotationally but only 7 snaps? -

I’m not into conspiracies. I like logic. To me logically, a healthy Edwards plays ahead of Hamlin. He was a starter on a Super Bowl winning team. If he’s truly still injured, then fine. But he’s not listed with an injury. If this is about contributing on special teams, then that’s stupid.- 142 replies

I think it’s safe to say we were all very happy with this signing in the offseason. With his experience and success in KC, it was pretty much a foregone conclusion that he’d be a starter here. Then some injuries happened in the preseason. But still possibly inactive in week 7?? Something doesn’t smell right. May 28 - OTA’s- Shoulder injury - wearing sling July 29 - Training camp - Hamstring injury August 21 - Returns to practice Best I’ve felt here Eyeing week 1 return September 4 Week 1 - Not on injury report, looks to be back at full health, expects to play rotationally Snap Counts: total 7 snaps for the season. And then this week: October 18 - Week 7 - did not practice due to illness Lots of stuff on social media related to his lack of playing time, but this one is spot on and implies that Edwards himself is sick of riding the bench. So what the hell is going on? This team, McD specifically has a history of picking up veteran free agents with ability and not using them properly. Edwards should be on the field.

Actually Jets 16 refs 4. That extra point in the first quarter was not good -
Spot on! Coaching is very bad. As teams see a few weeks of tape, we have become very predictable. We dont put our players in the right positions to succeed. This was the game for Samuel to break out and he barely saw the ball, and when he did it was bubble screens. He should be playing outside and Coleman should be slot. Mac Hollins shouldn’t be on the field let alone get the highest number of targets 🤦♂️. How can professional football coaches not see this??

The Miseducation of Josh Allen-Current State of the Offense
Jukester replied to thenorthremembers's topic in The Stadium Wall
Been saying this since Brady took over. Was worried they’d take the Ferrari and drive it like a Toyota. There is a time and place for ball control but you gotta open it up if you have a weapon like Allen. Unfortunately this coaching staff’s misguided plan for ball control has lead to a lack of restocking of WR weapons…and here we are. I am convinced that McD is the common factor in disputes with Daboll, Dorsey, and Diggs. Brady is just a yes man right now. -
Except against us at which point odds become 99%.
