https://www.niagara-gazette.com/sports/buffalo-sports-talk-legend-howard-simon-enjoys-transitions-to-tour-guide-with-niagara-falls-adventures/article_41d7bc5a-2812-11ee-a4d4-cb06a2b70eb6.html Heard him mention this in one of his cameos on the station since his retirement. Good to see him enjoying his post WGR days. Anyone gotten a tour from him?

Just saw this episode. Cousins’ was tough as nails no doubt. But what it also reminded me was how we literally handed that game to them. Defense collapses, Josh fumbles in the end zone, then the pick at the end into the end zone. 🤮

Fun watch. Schnow is always candid. - No detail on Diggs situation other than it’s a non-issue and media hype only. - Talked about how flat they were top to bottom for Cinci playoff game but couldn’t explain why. - Spent some time on Josh Allen of course, his running and impact to o-line blocking - Great things to say about Buffalo, the fans, and college-like gameday atmosphere. - Talked about trench battles especially in division and gave props to Jets and Dolphins d-lines. Expressed dislike for Christian Wilkins and called him a chirper (I’m sure he wanted to say dirty but held back). - Closed by going after McIntyre on his Jets fandom.

Mariota especially was a head scratcher. But regardless, it's always cool to see some of the backstories and inner workings behind these guys. I'm also a tennis fan and watched Break Point. I had no clue about many of the players featured and by the end really felt more connected to them.

Premiered today. Follows Mahomes, Cousins, and Mariota during the 2022 season. I watched the first episode and enjoyed it. Good stuff during the offseason to get fired up for the upcoming year. I think Bills-Chiefs regular season game will be part of epissode 2 and another one down the road will have the Vikes-Bills fiasco.

How in hell did you get a picture of my childhood home. Drop ceilings and wood paneling, priceless. -
Found this stuff by accident recently on vacation and I concur. A little spritz in the toilet ahead of time and it really does the job

This is a parody post right? It’s hilarious. 😂

Agree 100%. But on the escapes there’s just two simple thing Josh needs to learn - how to baseball slide and step out of bounds. It’s that simple. He loves running over people and that’s the biggest threat to him staying healthy and prolonging longevity. So making him a pure pocket passer and never running would be stupid. He’s too talented with his legs. Just teach him to protect himself. He’s done it at times but not consistently. Mahomes is a master at it. I am still convinced Josh got concussed in the Green Bay game last year.

Exactly. If you’re going to compare Dungy to McDermott, you have to remember Dungy started with the Bucs, built a great team, but couldnt get to the super bowl in 6 years. He then moved on to the Colts and it took him another 5 yrs to win the super bowl. Lets hope Sean’s path isn’t similar. He’s built a great team but needs to get to the super bowl or eventually he’ll be moving on to another team.

Really great to get a glimpse of a few more drawings and models in this video. I for one am very excited to see this come to life. Totally fine with it being open air but I am still wondering why they chose to keep the canopy as small as it is. Tottenham covers almost all the seats. Can’t be much more to extend it a bit. Edit: Just went back and found this nugget from April when they announced the cost went up from 1.4 to 1.54B: 'The additional costs will be covered by owners Kim and Terry Pegula. "Those added costs come from the commitment of Kim and Terry to build the best football stadium possible for the Bills and our fans. The increased coverage on the canopy, a lot more technology, the streetscaping and the landscaping around the stadium to create a 365-day destination," said Raccuia.' So the original announcement and renderings released in Oct '22 said 65% canopy coverage, and I'd surmise the drawings and models we saw in this video were from design sessions back then. So I'm hoping this means maybe 75-80% coverage when all is said and done, which was not reflected in this video.

Wow, drawing a complete blank on “we can make it happen.” That was when I was away at college so makes sense.

Thanks for the blast from the past. Talkin Proud instead of the Shout Song. I was 11 and if I remeber right, my parents made me go to bed. I sneakily listened on the radio.

Not sure as I did the standalone ST only and not the tv package
-
Yes, exactly. I’ve already canceled the auto renew. Will revisit everything again next summer.
-
Yes it is quite a deal. At $175 I’d be out in a heartbeat. I call every 12 months (sometimes more often) and get re-upped with discounts continually. I’m due in July again. Hopefully things don’t change too much.
-
Not really cheaper for me. Paying $105 for DTV including regional sports channels and I get HBO for free. I believe it would be at least that much for YTTV for similar package. But I know people’s miles vary with DTV.
-
I went with the stand-alone Sunday ticket/red zone package. YTTV doesn’t carry Bally sports which carries all the Cardinals and Blues games here in St Louis. I could get by without but an absolute must for the rest of the family. So when I look at switching, I’d still have to get Bally via another sub and it ends up costing more than I pay now for DTV. As much as people complain about DTV, I never paid full price for ST Max in 11 years, usually free or at least 75% off at worst. Also would call every year and get steep discounts on tv package in general. So this switch just means I have to fork over $389 for the ST/red zone package and have to show the family how to access it differently this year. Not gonna complain too much - that’s still not bad as we’ve got 3 nfl teams we follow and this assures we’ll get every game.

Not an NJ fan but I am a Lindy fan. He went from “fire Lindy” chants earlier in the season to making the genius goalie change in game 3 to 22 yr old Akira Schmid and coming back to win the series. Hope they go far.
