FWIW, a poster over at BB.com who has ties with the organization say's the Bills are considering bringing in Gaffney.

Vince Young: "I am anxious to learn even more to make my game even better"
Vince Young: looking forward to working with Bills QB coaches on fundamentals to fine tune his technique.
Young with his experience in the NFL: "You can make the game fun" with ability to understand defenses/protections
Young on Gailey: "he understands his players, and he knows what he's doing."
Young on backup role: "All you can do is come in and work. You always have to be ready because you never know what's going to happen"
Young: "As the years go on, guys get more mature. That's the biggest thing I've learned."
Young: "It's not about me...I just want to go out and play football and help out any way I can."

Bill Polian selected as the 28th member of the Buffalo Bills Wall of Fame.

Per Laconfora: Bills 2pm press conference will be to announce a multi-year extension for RB Fred Jackson, who was having an MVP-type '11 before injury

FWIW, a poster over at BB.com who had some pretty valuable inside information during the draft stated the Bills would offer a contract to Young within the next 48 hours. Young apparently has one other visit expected in the next week or two, but apparently interest was mutual based on his workout.

I haven't read any of this thread (and yes, go ahead and use those 7 words against me for everything I'm about to say) but the fact that there are 3 pages of discussion (and this thing is pinned) about Stevie !@#$ing Johnson's contract makes me sad as a Bills fan. This is our biggest story? (rhetorical question). Yes, sadly, it is. I think Stevie is a punk. A "there is no I in team, but there's an I in Win" type guy. But I'm starting to think that this is where we are as an organization. Maybe we need to sign his stupid ass to a huge contract and then draft another top WR, because Fitz was hurt for the second half and all he needs is another target. He had time all season. Our O-line impressed. He just had no receivers who could get open. But we still started strong. Did our po-dunk offense get figured out? Did the ball just "bounce our way" the first 7 games? I don't know. But I'm done hating Stevie for his stupid Antics. Maybe because I'm now 10 years older than any rookie. Maybe it's because I went from hoping the Bills would win a SB that my grandpa could see to hoping they win one that my Dad can see. Not sure. But this "all about me" punk is a good f-ing WR. Toss a crap load of money at him. A Ton. If he's a bust, ya know what happens? We're in the same spot we've been for the last 13 YEARS. He's great like he's shown small glimpses of? Awesome. I just want to win. Before I have to start thinking I want to see a SB win that "I" can see...
So what are your thoughts on that Geico screaming pig commercial?

Just think about our team next year: Hines Ward, Albert Haynesworth, Randy Moss. Who am I missing?

Hurray!!!!! I mean.....who?
Yeah, not really sure either. Former Pitt / Wannsetedt LB, 5th round choice of the 49ers. Torn ACL and patellar in 2010.

You know if we were hiring a new GM, a guy like Doug Whaley who came from a respected organization like the Steelers, would be considered a good hire. But I guess since he already works for the Bills he must be a piece of garbage, right?
PTR
Couldn't agree more with PTR, I know the consensus feeling among Bill's fans is really low at this point, but both of these promotions were expected. Whaley and Wannstedt both bring a high pedigree of success, which I am personally welcoming with open arms.

My guess would be Jamie Dukes or Marshall Faulk serve as ghostwriters when off air.

If nothing else, it is interesting.
Don't know if it means anything, but when I checked the team site, initially a breaking news banner comes up and quickly disappears.
