Who cares as long as we have a real, top 10 starting QB

I'm obviously cheering for him to become a superstar but I'm entirely confident that he will.

I like them a great deal but number one? They still have a long way to go to earn that.

Why would he come to the conclusion that he couldn't win yet take another job in Jacksonville? If he couldn't win why would his leaving "screw us over"? I don't understand the anger at him, it's simply a man who chose not to work for a team for whatever reason he didn't think would be successful. Nothing wrong with that, you take it way too personally.

I don't get why it was a dick move. If Pegula had decided to fire him would that have been a dick move? The guy specifically asked for and received a clause in his contract that would allow him to leave if the team was sold. He assessed the situation and decided that it wasn't a good situation for him and used that clause to leave the team. If a player has an opt-out in his contract and he uses it because he thinks there is more money for him on the free agent market is that a dick move?

There has been talk the the bid had language which required the new owners to keep to team in Buffalo. That would explain why only 3 bidders became involved, I suspect that's why big money offers didn't come in wanted to move the team to California or Toronto.

Sad story to hear, he a a local kid who made it to the top. I hope he is able to reflect on what went wrong and get better

I would love to sign him but I can't imagine that McBean would want him because he's such a diva and I don't think he'd want to come here without a QB. He wants to redeem himself quickly. I'm thinking Patriots, Packers or Rams.

You're saying a fan who watched him play knows more than his coach? How does this bring into question Mora's ethics?

I'm not sure if it is a smokescreen but I agree with the statement. I prefer a pocket passer to a mobile QB.

What I like about Peterman is his ability to make quick decisions and get the ball out quickly, he trusts his receivers to make plays. To be clear I am not making the case that he should be the starter, he will be a Pro Bowl player or eventual Hall of Famer, I haven't seen enough of him play to come to any conclusion but I have seen some things I hope he can build on which is why I said I like that he is in the mix for consideration..

I don't think one bad start means his career is completely over either. I would consider him in the mix

My bad, you'd think that since I have watched every single Bills game since 1983 I'd remember that game. Who on the Bills do you think Reich considers a friend or do you think he would take a lesser deal with Buffalo just because he wore the uniform. Personal relationships are not the same as fondly remembering your time in an organization.

True and I'm sure he'd risk his long awaited opportunity as a head coach to help out Colt and the Bills!
