  1. To paraphrase the late Dennis Green "...he is who we thought he was". He's an 8-8 9-7 guy at best.
  2. The article could have been talking about "real Bills fans" who think criticizing the team mean's you're being disloyal.
  3. I like John he's an intelligent man but he is no doubt an unlistenable company hack. Just like I couldn't read Shout! after the Bills bought it and put Chris Brown in charge. I agree Rico, need too get the Wilson losers out.
  4. Hard to get excited about any of these names.
  5. I think Coughlin and Marrone have similar style and will be a good fit together. If by anal you mean he has an attention to detail, which both of them have. I think its a very good move.
  6. As an Alabama fan I can tell you I have really liked what I have seen from him in the few chances I have had to watch him play. He seems to have that "winner" quality. While mobile quarterbacks are in vogue right now if you look across the league its still the pass first guys that seem to win play-off games and championships. Russell Wilson is probably the biggest exception and possibly Cam Newton but he is inconsistent. Watson seems like a likable kid that would be fun to cheer for too. I wouldn't complain about the Bills drafting Watson but I would have some doubt.
  7. Its so depressing it doesn't seem to matter who they interview or hire at this point outside of a really HUGE name guy who will push Whaley aside.
  8. I can't throw away another season unless the next Andrew Luck was coming out in 18
  9. Bill B, Harbaugh, Tomlin and Reid
  10. Agreed, post-Rex I don't there is much mood for empty bragging in Buffalo right now. We've heard it all before.
  11. None of these guys are worth trading up for
  12. Wade did a pretty good job up here in Buffalo but he's getting a little long in the tooth and he wasn't very successful in other HC jobs
  13. I honestly think he is a pretty good coach, he reminds me of Bill Parcell's a leader of men who holds his team accountable and I wouldn't be surprised if he get the Jaguars to the play-offs before the Bills return.
  14. Whaley deserves to be fired Coughlin did win two Super Bowls
  15. I wasn't a fan of him when they drafted him. He looked really bad his senior year at OSU. Two things really bother me about him, he can be very inaccurate at times and "has never seen a WR who isn't open" is a negative as well. He will throw a lot of INTS and I suspect some will come at really bad (stupid) times.
  16. I'm with you on Dabo, I'm surprised his name hasn't been mentioned for other jobs as well.
  17. I would love that
  18. Great job describing how this went down, as a senior executive at large organization I got the same impression on the office politics. The only part a disagree with you about is that Whaley is a good GM. His unrelentingly desire to prove how he was right on EJ has been his biggest failure, he's been willing to sacrifice team performance to prove himself correct. BTW I hadn't heard about the Hue Jackson rumor but I definitely could have lived with that selection.
  19. All this is certainly improving the image of Doug Marrone; I think he got pretty tired of Whaley's bs and decided to walk away rather than work with a liar and moron.
  20. Sounds like he is clearly blaming Whaley and rightfully so. He's saying Whaley lied about not being involved in the decision and that he's still trying to prove he was right on EJ. I agree on both points 100%
  21. That's true but I was speaking for the fans....
  22. I have no issue whatsoever with a kid making the best decision for himself. He owes the school nothing, anyone who buys into that mythological self-serving diatribe about "the team" or "the school" is just a dope. Ask Willis McGahee
  23. That's Zach Brown's problem then, its pretty meaningless for fans
  24. I agree as well, this whole drunken bit seems pretty stupid
