  1. I agree 100%, it wasn't all his fault, I'm glad he's gone but no need to keep attacking the guy.
  2. Yeah we might miss they play-offs for 17 consecutive years or lose four consecutive Super Bowls or even worse lose a play-off game we have in the books on a blown call by the official! (I was only joking)
  3. Would that it were... would that it were
  4. This post is exactly what wrong with any discussion today, instead of listening to the other point of view and responding with either a thoughtful counter-point or concession to the other person's point of view the response its this "the other side is stupid or their motives are evil" or an ad hominem attack. What is your definition of fans who just want to "win"? Win 9 games? Win 10 games? Win a play-off spot? Win a wild-card game? I would like the Bills to keep searching for a QB because I don't think anyone can become a serious threat to win a Super Bowl with a top-notch QB. I've seen the team play in four Super Bowls and be completely out matched in 3 of them. Having the team even win the AFC championship and getting smoked in the Super Bowl isn't going to do it for me. Build the team to win championships not make the play-offs and that starts with a championship caliber QB.
  5. I hope not
  6. I don't know for certain but I'm just speculating. I think Tom has more going on in his life beyond football which I don't think that Montana or Farve had.
  7. That was such a great game and the start of Flutie mania! I loved it but I saw that one on TV and I follow the same criteria of "'cause I was there" so my favorite was from a couple of years ago. 2011 Bills Raider and the famous Fitzpatrick scream game, Oakland almost won it after that with Hail Mary pass. https://youtu.be/KO4Z4NHk4Lk
  8. I wouldn't put too much weight into what Hurley said, its obligatory.
  9. I suspect a similar outcome; just Brady retiring instead of being cut or traded. I know there is a lot of bravado about Brady wanting to play until he's 70 but I think he buys into the Marv Levy theory that when you start talking about retirement you are already retired. I suspect he and the Patriots have already had discussions about him leaving after this year.
  10. Exactly, its the polar opposite of his approach so far which is a slow seady building of the foundation without flashy over-reaches.
  11. I think this is Shady's last year as a Bill.
  12. That's why I said he was viewed as a meddler (also a cheapskate) Parcells quit and walked away from the am AFC Championship team because Kraft and his minions wouldn't let him run the team.
  13. Wow I thought he was hanging up his cleats.
  14. Kraft was a viewed and a control freak and bumbling idiot until had the good fortune to hire Belichick and get lucky with a sixth round pick in 2000.
  15. For is or for the next team he plays for?
  16. I agree with you on both points, if he has value trade him. I don't think he has value either which is why he resigned with the Bills at a discount. If Denver was interested in him they would have let his agent know through back channels and he would have been released and signed with them.
  17. I agree about the arrogant Pats fans but before we feel too good about ourselves I recall us mocking the Browns, Jets and others as being "stupid".
  18. Whaley has had some luck finding some gems in the trash heap so he might be a surprise... oh wait
  19. He is certainly reworking the roster to fit his style of play but "rebuild mode" might be a bit strong. The team isn't that far away, and adding a top 10 QB in the league would make the an immediate play-off contender but I do agree with you I wouldn't be shocked to see Peterman as the starting QB before the year ends,
  20. They could be I don't think they will be, Most (except the Jets are in Buffalo). Just my best guess based on today. I think they will be between 7-9 to 9-7. You might be right but my guess is the Buccaneers end up somewhere between 9-7 and 7-9 like the Bills. I am not sold on Winston despite the media's attempt to hype him. If the game against the Saints were in New Orleans I'd agree with you but if you look at their record away from the Superdome over the last four years they are a different team.
