  1. I understand and like the players I have no idea what the Ryan boys were trying to do but other than potentially Gilmore do you think we'll miss those guys?
  2. I don't think that seems plausible unless the team is pretty sure the injury caused some permanent damage. He was pretty highly regarded out of college for both this football intelligence as well as his athletic ability. I think the worst case scenario is bench and special teams.
  3. Based on the performance of the players in that secondary last year 3 new starters is a good thing
  4. He admitted he made a mistake opting out if his contract
  5. Based on his talent and the fact that Jim Kelly is his uncle, someone who has been successful after some youthful indiscretions no I wouldn't be shocked if he was successful or became an all pro. You can't teach talent. Not many people as good as the group you mentioned so no I don't think there is a chance he would be that good. That being said I also I have no issue whatsoever with the Bills passing on him and I wouldn't be shocked if he ended up like Ryan Leaf, Brady Quinn, Rick Mirer or Tim Couch.
  6. They haven't played a single game yet
  7. It wouldn't shock me if Kelly turns into and all-pro but it also wouldn't shock me if he turned into a complete bust too. Low risk (Mr. Irrelevant in the draft) and potentially a high reward guy for the Broncos. As fun as it would have been if the Bills had taken him in the last round I think both the Bills and Chad are better off with him playing somewhere else. The interesting thing is that although he has been humbled by his fall in the draft I get the sense that if he got the chance to play and started getting attention his ego would grow and he would do the same stupid things he did before.
  8. Perfectly said on both points.
  9. Had to be something personal with the owner, this couldn't be just about football.
  10. I'm with you, I like the direction and 3years is a lifetime in the NFL
  11. I live in Central MA but my son will be a Freshman at St John Fisher this year so I have an excuse to hit some more games at home this year! Planning on: 9/10 vs Jets 9/24 vs Broncos And if the season isn't a complete disaster at this point I'll try for: 11/12 vs Saints 12/17 vs Dolphins I would normally go to the game @ New England but I'm not going to a game on Christmas Eve.
  12. Its really close; you're likely going to need to leave the game early.
  13. Atlanta - NE rematch with another Patriot Superbowl... sadly
  14. As an Alabama fan I love that we have him, but these type of videos are very misleading. This was titled "Hardest Hitting LB in College Football Reggie Ragland, the next video in the queue is also titled "Ruben Foster Hardest Hitting Linebacker" Watching this video makes him look like he can make every play, but then watch an equivalent video of the misses he had and you walk away feeling like he can't make any plays. (I can tell you first hand I've seen a few missed tackles from him, watch the 2016 National Championship game, the first one against Clemson that "Bama won. He missed a few in that game.) I hope he is a star but I don't know if that is a given right now.
  15. That 1976 Tampa Bay team was the worst I've ever seen. Not only did they go 0-14 in 1976 but they went 0-12 the following year before winning the last two. Granted it was an expansion but I think that was the worst ever.
  16. True but his inability to get along with his coaches or to subordinate himself or his opinions would likely make him less attractive to someone like Andy Reid. That's why I think he is better suited as a head of scouting than as a GM but you could be right.
  17. He can say that if he wants to sound like a person who doesn't take accountability for his performance. Do you think owners around the league didn't see his very poor public performances in his press conferences?
  18. There is a pretty big gap between interest in a baseball game and WNBA! I don't mind the CFL but I'd watch an MLB game first.
  19. Right and I explained why... his limited physical skills don't provide a lot of options. He made some aggressive decisions just didn't have the physical skills to execute
  20. Head Coach Doug Marone Offensive Coordinator Chan Gailey Defensive Coodinator Rex Ryan Special Teams: No real strong feelings
