  1. Wow, did any commercial lot owners fight this in court?? Back in the 70's the Town of Orchard Park tried to limit the number of cars per household on event days at Ralph Wilson Stadium. Say if Mom,Dad, and 3 kids had cars (5 in total) on event days you could only have 2 cars parked on your property!! What do you do with the other cars??? This was an attempt to limit event day parking on private property. My parents led the fight along with 2 other property owners against this proposed law. The court case was held in West Seneca. It did not take long for it to be defeated. On a side note look for an announcement in the near future about some modifications that will be done on the Ralph Wilson complex. Just another step in keeping the Bills in Orchard Park.
  2. Teammarkingreport.com (Sept 2015) has the Patriots at $40.00
  3. On a $ide note, the Washington Redskins recently raised parking to $50 a car. Other $$$ for parking Cowboys $75 SeaHawks $50 Bears $49
  4. No brainier to me. A flat bed with a wheel lift opens up another line of $$$. What happens if the little old truck goes down? You get a call from a auto club. Oh we can't tow our truck is down. You'll go down the list of reliability. You already put your oars in the water, do you want to row forever or drive a speed boat?
  5. I heard they are very good.
  6. Red Rocks concert on my bucket list. Was there in 81 during the day, no concert and even then what a awesome venue. Vitamins ??? Right It looked like Bruce was wearing some type of shoulder brace. Body surfing takes it toll on you at when your 66.
  7. I go to one or two $ concerts a year now that Im more experienced. When I was younger and had less responsibility I went to concerts all the time. Me upper class,!!!! You don't know me!!!
  8. After the show I said to my wife and friends there goes our concert budget till the free Canalside or Art Park shows this Summer.
  9. It sucks when the scalpers with their robo technology block out the average fan from getting tickets. 7 bills for a show, sorry not for me either. They (Bruce)did drop tickets the morning of the Buffalo show and have done so in the past.
  10. Bruce and the E Street band played 3 hours plus coming on stage a little after 8pm. A bare bones stage for a sold out arena. The band was tight and did not disappoint. Nils spinning guitar solo and Max's drum solo really stood out. Bruce did the usually body surf from the center of the area to the stage and from the audience brought on stage for Dancing in the Dark a special needs lady. Wow a class act. My favorite was the Rising. I've seen Bruce many times since my first show at Shea's in 1978. My ex brother in law ( who later managed Steve Ray Vaughan , Cinderella, and others) got the tickets and before the show said Bruce was going to be big. He was right.
  11. The Courtyard Suites downtown is going through a remodel to keep up with the joneses. It will be flipping to a Holiday Inn Express. I think the Holiday Inn on Delaware will be remodeled and rebranded.
  12. The Allen St Hardware bar in Buffalo got nailed this week for not having a City of Buffalo Dance Permit! Yep you need s permit to dance in Buffalo! With that said you know the city of Buffalo will legislate/permit/tax the you know what out of it.
  13. Come on, In my eyes I'm very unbiased. I as a taxpayer and long time season tickets holder see no need for a new stadium. I'm happy with my seats, I have no problem with the restrooms, getting a beer or food or concourses. I don't need wifi or fantasy football updates. I'm there to watch a Bills game. As a taxpayer and as someone who owns two business a 1/2 billion $$ remodel makes more sense to me than does a billion Plus $$ new stadium. But in the end it's all up to the Pegulas.
  14. #4 to win #5 to place #11 to show
  15. No miscommunication. All artist renditions make things look better than they are. Either I go to the games with blinders on or I sit in a section where fans are not abusivie, don't spill beers. I would think with the amount of crime ( 2 people shot Saturday one DOA in Buffalo) people might want to be sober after the games if the stadium was downtown for fear of robbery etc.
  16. Can you really count on those spots being there in the future? Buffalo is booming now. I see it mentioned every day on the news! Look what happened in Minny. A parking lot was sold and a building built losing over 850 spaces. That's happening to a lot near the Central Library in Buffalo this year. Legislate against it? I think regulate er tax it to the max via permits. I sold out my warehouse of tables and bats last year. I think straight jackets will be huge in the parking lots this upcoming season!
  17. I remember a study done ranking the area/neighborhood around the Ralph as the second safest in the NFL. New England was first. Both are not in a city setting.
  18. Whoops the Roof is leaking to the tune of $4 million in repairs. I have never heard of an open air stadium roof leaking!
  19. http://www.startribune.com/Vikings-scramble-for-tailgating-space-around-downtown-stadium/368859111To bad for Vikings fans. This could happen to Bills fans if there is a downtown stadium. Watch and Learn.
  20. You are a little off on hotel rooms in WNY. 15,000 plus and growing.
  21. And Erie County Executive Mark Polinarz is in favor of this approach and favors keeping the Bills at the Ralph Wilson complex.
  22. So what your saying is if either the Chargers or Raiders do not move to LA or get a new stadium lined up this year the NFL will force them to move out of the country?
