  1. At the last Bills game when Kenny was doing his K & M ceremony, the sheriff helicopter hovered over us until the crowd dispersed. In the past, fly overs never just hovering. At the town of Orchard Park town board meeting when the discussion was about the change in Commerical parking rules, concerning the police access, one councilman said access was needed to make sure there was enough restrooms on site! The chief of police said it was for security purposes. The Bills provide info to the town (what info ?) which was not made public. I also heard that the Bills are involved in the rule changes. To what degree, I don't know. Ladt year flat fee $50.00 This year based on space 1-3 acres $100 3-6 $200 6 & more $300 That is a concern of mine.
  2. I guess you don't know me, simple. This regulation is for Private lots, I run Commerical lots which require a permit. The Private lots in my view should have to get a permit and follow the same regulations as the Commerical lots. The town of Orchard Park in April passed new regulations for Commerical lots, police access, restroom requirements ( which I always have exceeded) and increase in permit $ee (boo). I have NO problem with the police access as I have police on the property every game. The world we live in is changing not for the better. You can thank the table slammers and public sexers for getting these regulations inacted along with people who don't like us. I did speak at the town board meeting about these regulations. I have been speaking, giving a piece of my mind, at town board meeting since the early 70's, simple.
  3. Work. Putting in 12 hour days. I just can't get enough!!!
  4. That low crime rate in Orchard Park sucks. Do not worry, the mayor of Buffalo will be kicking in millions for infrastructure improvements! I can't wait for this topic to come up again in 2-3 months.
  5. I was contacted by some one in the music/radio business recently. Rumors of the Hip playing at the Ralph. No date mentioned
  6. Rex hits the Tim Hortons on Big Tree Road every mornings on his way to the Ralph. Donut holes are very filling!
  7. The San Diego Bills Backers thru one of the best tailgate party's that I ever have been to in 2005. The LA group will have to step their game up big time to clam the Best Tailgate on the West Coast!
  8. I'm hearing $7-10 Billion from a very reliable source. And on a side note work has started on the new practice field.
  9. But a new downtown stadium will create a lot of bars and restaurants....... Looks like there will be no need for them now.
  10. Russ on WGR yesterday said 1 perhaps 2 fields. The grass practice field they now use is 170 yards long.
  11. WOW A month and a half since opening the jar our helping tonight is still kickin azz. Good batch.
  12. The Mud Lot could have been bought for $150,000 roughly 30 years ago. I tried to get two former Bills to buy it at that time but they already invested in other commercial properties. The Pegulas paid $275,000 for 3 acres of the Mud Lot. (At that ppf. I would have sold the whole lot now.) According to survey markers it looks like land will be bought from the a joining property also. As I stated all the land will become part of the stadium complex property tax free zone. I don't think the county had any interest in buying, the Bills I think wanted to buy some/all of the land but Mrs Barco had other things to worry about, her failing health and had no interest in selling. Gas is low, he ain't selling now. I hope his current businesses make him $$$. You know how fast one can plow through a billion dollars! I don't see them moving from SJF. I have never been there but didn't the Bills recently spend $$ there upgrading the training camp experience?
  13. Oh Grass Hopper you have so much to learn. No you don't. The Mud Lot owners only sold a portion of the property. Plenty of Mud for You!
  14. Not to be completed until April 2017. Seems like a long time to build a simple grass practice field.
  15. What??? I remember a satistic about safety in neighborhoods around NFL stadiums. Foxboro #1, Ralph #2 What do they have in common, not a city stadium. I know people who went to the Jets vs Bills game in Detriot, never again will they go to D town. Future stadium location or rehab Ralph, its out of our control. Who knows in 7 years we all might be watching the games at home via virtual reality glasses! I don't think I can build that high in OP. Something to do with flight path of the crows and seagulls who scavage the stadium lots for days after the games!
  16. Looks like by parking in Lot 3 you are in traffic with the largest group of vehicles, lot 3, 4, ECC and Lot 5 if they go down Sheldon and private lots. I known some other TBDers use a different route to the north. I think Promo the Robot is sell a booklet for $19.95 Secrets of a fast exit from the Ralph.
  17. As Mead said, it was not a done deal last week. Not a big deal, interesting. I bet JW wants a downtown stadium for obvious reasons.
