My parents have a time share down there, and go down a lot. All i really get out of them is that there are a lot of topless dutch girls around....so have fun!

Yeah, it kinda sucks how quiet HSBC can be sometimes. I was listening to the clips of the last game at the Aud the other day, man, that place was loud. A lot of people in the lower levels don't even stand up when we score anymore
-
Alright beerme, like i said the other day, that voice in the back of your head is getting louder... "Lets go Buff-a-lo! Lets go Buff-a-lo!" There is a spot up here on the bandwagon with your name on it!

Thats because they play dirty, all the time. They get away with it too. You can't tell me that Sundin punching two sabres in the back of the head and the Sabres getting the penalties for it doesn't show the referees bias towards the leafs. Or Mike Grier getting called for goaltender interference when he never even touched the goaltender, when it convieniently gave the leafs a 5-3. Face it, the leafs can't even win when the deck is stacked. I know you hear it in the back of your head... "Lets Go Buff-a-lo!"

You could start rooting for the Sabres

http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/news/story?id=2309549 The NFL network is in so few homes, they have to be nuts. Cable companies move incredibly slowly when adding channels...I would imagine that the NFL is using this to make sure that their network gets picked up by as many providers as they can, but in the meantime, this is gonna screw a lot of people out of being able to watch their teams play.

First of all, Numminen is probably our top defender, and a huge part of our power play success (even though he only gets assists). Thus, for the Sabres, missing him is almost (but not quite) like the Leafs missing McCabe. Second of all, Briere was the top scorer when he went down with an injury, and Connolly was the top scorer when he went down. I'd take Briere and Connolly any day of the week over Lindros and Tucker. So yes, the Sabres injuries are worse than the Leafs, we just have the depth to make up for it.
-
The Sabres were missing 5 very important people to injury. (And before you say Mair and Pyatt aren't important, remember that the Sabres 4th line was a huge part of their early success, and it hasn't been together since Mair went down) Tonights game was evidence of how you can't be the Yankees of hockey. You _must_ build talent inside your organization to win in the new NHL, and the Leafs just don't understand that. The Sabres have had guys stepping up from Rochester all year, and we still have several players down there waiting for their chance.

They said he'll talk about the coach soon.

He will be on at 10:30...Soprano isn't lying about that....

There is no "breakdown in communication". I didn't need the boys in Toronto to call to know that the referee should have reviewed that goal on his own. This is a major home job by the NHL, and they should be ashamed of themselves.

Agreed....actually, I just think that Donahoe was more Wormtounge, and now Marv(Gandalf) finally convinced Wilson (Theoden) to get rid of him.

That was the play that lost USC the game IMO. White was averaging some 6.5 yards per carry, and the USC interior O-line was completely dominating Texas. Give the ball to White and run him up the middle, there is NO other acceptable play to call in that situation. They did it on 1st down, and even though Texas knew it was coming, he still got 3 yards. Even if you don't get the first down, 2 more running plays gives Texas much less time to work with. Yes, Vince Young was great, but would he have been able to run around and make passes down the middle with less than a minute left? I doubt it. USC learned the hard way calling pass plays in that situation loses football games.

Her friends that she is sitting with are pretty smoking, but she is pretty nasty....then again, AJ Hawk is one ugly dude, so they make a good couple i guess.

http://sports.espn.go.com/espn/page2/story...=fleming/051221 Buffalo fans (along with Cleveland and Philly) are the only ones mentioned as a winner here. Fletcher was given honorable mention...to be honest, he is the only player on the Bills that I think deserves to be on this list. After selling out the whole season, don't we deserve a team with more heart?

I play hockey too in a men's league. -
10 is the all time record....and it was set by the Sabres in 83-84. Two other teams matched that record a few years ago. If the Sabres can win in Florida on thursday, then they'll tie their own record. Wins at Florida and at Tampa on thu and fri will break the record.

Anyone know why Reed wore 83 tonight?

I feel like that has a lot to do with the QB. Sure, Evans dropped those balls, but really it seems to me that Evans is on the same wavelength as JP, and Moulds is with Holcomb. I'm okay with that, because the future is going to be JP and Evans. -
Since the Bills have been disappointing ...

I've been watching the Sabres. While the loss last week was really crappy, I didn't feel as bad as I have in weeks and years past when we lost...it was kind of a feeling of giving up on the Bills this year, and getting excited about the Sabres. Also, there is hockey on every day, and its more exciting than it has been in quite a while. Football wise, I'd like to see the Patriots lose and Dallas lose, that is about it. -
Yeah, i tried to steal it but it didn't work

Thanks, I didn't want that 2:11 of my life anyway :-P

Sure, I know its just a silly internet fan poll, but I think its a decent gauge of how fans of other teams feel as compared to the way we do: http://sports.espn.go.com/nfl/sportsnation/ratings Mike Mularkey is the least-liked coach in the league (you can't vote for Martz anymore). Thats with some pretty stiff competition from the likes of Dom Capers and Norv Turner. Even Herm Edwards has a 51% approval rating with a 2-10 record. I have to be honest, I was not a fan of hiring someone without any experience, but I never really questioned Mularkey until the last two weeks. Now I'm officially off his bandwagon, and it appears that the rest of you are too.
