  1. …not spinning here. Of course they didn’t get half their subs, but they did beat Fox’s NFC CG 59.7m. It’s far and away the most watched boxing match since the rumble in the jungle.
  2. It’ll take a bit for the numbers to come out, but so far - this was the largest live stream ever in history, and crushed the viewership of the AFC and NFC championship games from this past January. It will end 2024 as second only to the Super Bowl as the most watched TV event. Not sure how that proves boxing is irrelevant….
  3. So… Bass was fine on Sunday. He’s not great, but 80% and we aren’t making 4th down decisions because of him yet…
  4. Agreed, tops. It was probably somewhere between 10-15%. We definitely showed up, but didn’t make a dent until the 3rd quarter when the Seahawks fans started to leave. I was in the 200’s on the Bills sideline and there were ~10 bills fans in my row and the two in front and behind me(out of 100 seats). The 100s level seemed to have a lot more Bills fans, but not a majority. Don’t get me wrong, it was a great showing and by the 4th quarter it was mostly us left, but the 50/50 talk is very inflated.
  5. It was pretty loud the first two Bills drives….i don’t think there’s any “piping in” of noise, the stadium is just designed to reflect noise more than any other. The Seahawks fans were very vocal in the first half…then they all got stuck waiting for beer and we had an empty stadium for the first drive of the 3rd quarter. After that the game was over, so if it’s anyone’s fault it was the slow concession lines😂
  6. Do you mean “over the whole 8 games”, or “right now”? It’s Keon Coleman right now.
  7. Keon Coleman is good at football. Nothing more to it… and a great situation for us
  8. Was at the game… the Seahawks fan sitting next to me said “Man number zero is Killing us!”. Keon definitely earned his game ball today
  9. Huh wut? The vast majority of the Seattle skyline has been developed in the past ~15-20 years. It’s probably the fastest growing large city in the US since 1996…
  10. I don’t think Portland was ever in the mix. Phil Knight is the only person in the state who can afford an NFL team, and he’s not gonna be around for long (and he’s pretty focused on the Ducks…) There may of course be some out of state owners, but there’s no obvious stadium solution here. There is an ownership group trying to lure an MLB team, but they are on roughly plan Z as the city has battled every sensible location. And….its just not that big a sports town. The Blazers draw ok and soccer is popular, but similar size metros like St Louis, San Diego, San Antonio, and Austin have …. a lot more potential NFL ticket buyers.
  11. I’ll be there solo. Have a plane ticket from PDX Sunday morning, but haven’t bought a game ticket yet. If anyone has an extra DM me!
  12. NBC does the production for Thursday Night Football. The talent and branding is managed by Amazon, but the folks on the cameras and in the trucks are the same folks that do SNF. And the NFL is very closely aligned with their broadcast partners - a lot of "innovation" you see on all the partners is because of the NFL pushing for new fan engagement; they want things like alternative broadcasts, AI enhancements, etc.
  13. I think Josh hurt his left shoulder last week on the terrible trick play. I think it was 2021 when he hurt his left shoulder. The Bills made no big deal out of it, but one of the TV pundits (maybe Orlovsky?) made a point that non-throwing shoulder injury makes a QB sail balls high, and takes 4 weeks to heal. He was sailing them today, and that stretch in ‘21. 4 weeks puts Josh back to normal for the Seahawks game on 10/27.
  14. I expected Samuel to be a huge part of the offense when we signed him - he played on some really bad teams and produced, with JA he should be really good. But the turf toe has me not expecting much in the first month or so - hopefully it’s not a lingering thing. Shakir and Kincaid are gonna eat tomorrow; Samuel will have a couple of big 3rd down conversions but that’s about it.
