[SUW] 3 words you never want to hear.
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to JasoninMT's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Take cold shower! I'm really tired.... My Mom's here we're closing now... Mularkey to Vincent: "What's that noise?" -
buffalo reaches the absolute depths
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to dave mcbride's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Did anyone ever cover it? I don't remember hearing anything about this at the time. Then again, I may just be desensitized to the silliness of local politics...If there isn't an uproar now, there will never be.... -
And people don't think this is a Dynasty?
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to buffalo mike's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I've got to tip my Bills Cap to the Pats. It looked like Manning was thoroughly confused midway through the second quarter. Didn't TD say it will take 2 - 3 backs to effectively run Mularkey's system? The best (only) way to beat the Pats is to physically dominate them. Match Bruschi's intensity and shove it up his a**. -
[OT] Official 24 thread
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
He was driving an 'official CTU' vehicle, complete with a .50 cal sniper rifle and ski hat.....Kind of like keeping a blanket and flares in your trunk if you get stranded in the snow. Great show. Thank God Kim is gone! Cute actress, but her part was annoying. -
Your craziest day at the Ralph?
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to scribo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
My best Bills "I was there" memory was going to the AFC Conference Championship game against the Raiders in 1990. The Bills were on a mission that game, nothing was going to stop them that day, and they won 51-3. It kind of reminds me of the game the Bills will play on Sunday.....But the (scub-less) Steelers are a much better team than the 1990 Raiders. It was just before or during the first Gulf War, and everyone was chanting "USA". -
Martz Says Kyle Turley Threatened To Kill Him
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to Mark VI's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
For God's sake, if Turley is truly mentally ill (and not criminally anti-social) then get him some help. -
Our fate is in the hands of Mike Martz?
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to nodnarb's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Didn't I hear somewhere that Martz admitted he "lost it" during a game and couldn't make important decisions because he was so upset? Hopefully the players will ignore him and play to win out of pride. We get an early look tomarrow.... Go Rams! -
Indy gets to pick their first round opponent
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to PromoTheRobot's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Maybe we should write/email/call Polian to remind him that it is his duty to see that his team makes every effort to win their game against the Broncos.... -
No matter what happens

Ditto. Whatever happens, hats off to our boys in blue.... -
What was your favorite toy as a child
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to njsue's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Christmas 1973, I got a GI Joe 'Adventure Team' Jeep set, with a bearded figure on a 'Jungle Adventure'. Great toy, would play with my friends for many years. Sold it to a collector (with other pieces) to help pay for the down payment on my house! -
Merry Christmas Eve to everyone....
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to ICE's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
All good points. Some people have been commenting on Drew's improved ability to "manage" a game. Over the last 5 wins, he has avoided giving the game away. As long as he is playing within his limits, he is actually setting up our defense and ST to kick a**. And maybe he is being 'reformed' by Wyche, and will play the short ball better now (though I didn't like the screen pass when WM got hurt). I also like the QB draws (I mean QB falls forward play); I'd rather have 2nd and 6 instead of 14 with 8 men in the box. Merry Christmas to all! -
The block in the back called on Baker

When the Bengal's player hit Freddie, he gave a look like "I can't believe I just did that!" He didn't think he was pushed either! -
Prozac, Zoloft, Paxil, Celexa, Effexor

Amen and Mazel Tov to this...I can't remember when the Bills won 5 in a row! -
Has anyone been there? Is there admission and is it worth it? With the Bills in apparent "let's get by before JP comes back" mode, this may be the highlight of my gameday experience.....

Redskins name controversy
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to mary owen's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Gee, with an attitiude like this no wonder Native Americans probably think "what's the use in complaining" because nobody really cares? Before one criticizes a minority group, one should "walk a mile in their moccassins". Does anyone even care about the abuse the Natives have had to endure from about the time the Mayflower landed? Boarding schools anyone? Broken treaties? Needless slaughter of primary food sources? Demeaning portrayal in the media (remember the bad westerns of the forties and fifties?) Forced entrapment on 'wonderful' reservations that 'promoted' assimilation into the white culture, or die? After considering the previous, regardless of what your position is on this topic, can't you see why keeping a sports team's derogatory nickname may be offensive, and inappropriate? This isn't about being heckled in Buffalo for wearing your Ricky Williams jersey, then being really upset and having 'thin skin'. Perhaps charging that a person is 'politically correct' is REALLY being politically correct.... -
Official get a clue post
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to 1billsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I think most fans have not seen a bit of difference between a Williams/Gilbride Drew and a Malarkey/Wyche Drew. This offense is supposed to be simplified. If the reality is that the team has to 'settle in' to this offense, then fans feel betrayed and this season is just a preseason for 2005. But Drew has played poorly, and I tire of the 'it's correctable' excuses. If Drew is rushed, throw the ball away! If a reciever misses a hot read, throw it away! Drew obviously cannot run away. IMHO, something is not clicking in his head. I think fans peg Drew because he has been 'broken' for th last 24 games.... -
I have owned 3 Saturns, a 92, 93, and a 98. I was discouraged with the build quality of the 98 - it felt cheap. All of the models have had recalls. Th e 98 had an engine problem within the first week. Am not impresed with Saturn's current offerings. Cavalier and Saturns have had reliability problems. You owe it to yourself to research Consumer Reports, at least know what you're getting in to. Try the Corolla - great reliability, fit and finish, and MPG. They have a sport package if you want it.

Rantings of a dissappointed fan
NEEDFREDJACKSONNOW replied to Mike in Syracuse's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I didn't go to the Bill's game, but I took my kids to the Bison's playoff game last night. Even though there were about 1,500 people there, the enthusiasm grew with each run the Bison's scored (the Bison's won 7-0, game 5 playoff series win). Series after series of punts and turnovers do not keep the home fans entertained. If the Bills scored consistently and went for the knockout, there would almost certainly have been more noise.... The Bills should make a PSB about the wave, though.... -
If Brown is angry, then he should be angry at Vincent. With Losman healthy, the Bills would of kept Brown on the active roster for sure....
