  1. I hear Tice has some SB tix you can buy for just a couple extra dollars over ...
  2. I've been giving since I was eligible. I'm now almost 33 and I'm really close to closing out gallon #5. I think three pints -- although I'm giving thought to the apheristic (sp?) donation where they take double the normal volume of just the red blood cells and return the plasma, whites, and platletes. You get double value on your card for that, but can only do it every 112 days instead of 56.
  3. As I recall, he ran for 200 yards, BUT WE STILL WON -- THAT IS WHAT IS IMPORTANT.
  4. Is this not an OT post? ah, the insane cyclical nature of such an idea of posting an OT thread aimed at removing OT threads ...
  5. If I lived in the Buffalo area (not 3 hours south) and / or wasn't a pastor, I would be there. The Bills are the only value left in the NFL -- ticket price value, I mean.
  6. The Bills don't have to mend ways with TH, TH has to mend ways with the Bills
  7. Do you hear what you just said? ANY running back is available ... Travis is not even available ... even if given permission One of the keys to knowing if you're on a crusade is when you start making contradictory statements to cover your other statements.
  8. As bad as Carl Mauck was as a coach, at least he had some fire in his belly ... and quite a belly it was. He was the anti-Greggo in terms of emotion and fire -- at least you could tell he didn't like losing.
  9. If you wanted someone to say something about the dude puking, I'll do it. Dude, that's sick!
  10. Assistants are also fair game -- I know that they don't get as much press, but we've had some bad position coaches & coordinators. You might have to put down several as they were bad for differing reasons and you can't just narrow it down. I'll weigh in my thoughts after a while if this thread generates any discussion.
  11. What about that great leftie, David Humm? Oh, you said "season" that would entail playing, right?
  12. I've seen a few posts recently about WM leading the league (or at least being high in the rankings) for zero and negative rushes. Is this a concern? Sure, it'd be a concern if he were falling down, tripping over yardlines, bumping into the QB ... But Barry Sanders consistently lead the league in negative rushes -- we all know how that turned out. He did so because he was always behind a struggling line, but he always was near the top of the league at the end of the year and always had a high per carry average. Willis will be the same except the line in Buffalo is improving. The holes will open. And even though WM will still get dropped behind the line a bit, that's because he's taking chances and will be busting the 15-50 yarders with some regularity.
  13. I don't want THen here as a backup -- he could actually get in a game and cause a season ending sack to our young QB, not because JPL is injury prone, but because THen is that bad at picking up blitzes.
  14. Only 23 of the survivors will live to the end of the show????
  15. remember Lenny said that by using the numbers, Hurley had opened "the box" -- but Lenny's friend's wife only knew that they heard the numbers on a transmission.
  16. According to the article there are different levels overweight (almost all) obese (56%) severely obese (almost half of that 56%) and ... morbidly obese
  17. Drs. think Player are overweight Did anyone else see this? Wow, players are getting big ... how long and how much did they spend to come to that conclusion? Probably paid for by my insurance company, and they crunched the numbers at some secluded resort in St. Thomas.
  18. If you want a copy of the my Bills theme, just PM me and I'll try to send it to you. Basically, it is a medium dark blue background with a Bills helmet in the lower right corner. Colors of all the navigation bars & popup bars are matched to the Bills colors. This is my first try on this, if people like it I may expand later on.
  19. as a former high school and college player, I would love for LaCrosse to make it big in the national eye -- either indoor or outdoor, both are great games.
  20. Steelers have released him. Just curious Riemersma released
  21. According to Labyrinth, Grievious was a real "man" (not human I don't think, but a real person/character who lived prior to being constructed). I'll have to go home to dig out the background, but it was really one of the better backgrounds that the Star Wars novels have done. Most supporting characters have backgrounds that are really lacking in depth, but GG was fairly rich in development.
  22. For the background on Grievious, read Labyrinth of Evil -- I'm about halfway through -- that book is intense.
  23. So does Brett Favre -- every week
