  1. They won't be inside the 10 -- unless you speak of their own 10
  2. 2 games, 1 TD is still better than the 2003 Bills under Bleedslow and better than the 2000 (?) Balt Ravens.
  3. I noticed during a few of the bigger runs that TroyV had a tough time taking down Cadillac. He bounced off of him a few times. I guess probably just simple physics.
  4. I think that everything went downhill defensively when he went out. Didn't see him on the field on the first TD drive or after.
  5. We need someone to take a summary of all the posts in this thread after a few more hours and put together a poll with the top 5-7 places talked about.
  6. oh yeah, they got one on Main Street in Clarence (barely out of Amherst) The amount of pepperoni they put on one pie is obscene. If you like meat on your pizza, there is no other place to go.
  7. I was just checking my VISA rewards account and you can redeem 35,000 points for an autographed ball by an "elite" player. Looking over the list ... these are some of the options: Buffalo -- Drew Bledsoe Cleveland -- Tim Couch Denver -- Clinton Portis San Fran -- Jeff Garcia Tennessee -- Eddie George There were another 15 or so that were accurate for the team that they played, I just thought that some of these were far enough out of date that VISA might want to update their stock. BTW it only takes 20,000 points to get a ball from Eric Moulds. Bledsoe's elite but Moulds is considered at the "standard" level.
  8. I'd almost suggest putting Peters back as the up man.
  9. I flipped over to the Pit/Ten game just in time to see Henry in the backfield, whiff a LB and watch McNair get sacked ... So at least one of the 3 sacks was on TH
  10. at least THen could claim that he wasn't paid to throw the ball ... even if he was ... McNabb showed no sense of the game on that play. That was a 3rd grade play.
  11. If JP did that, I know a few that would be all over him, yet McNabb's a probowl QB ...
  12. I'm sure I heard Van Miller call the Vincent INT during that segment ...
  13. Did anyone else see mcnabb's lateral?
  14. Do you include TD as one of the drunks in the endzone or would not he be better classified as "a guy who makes money evaluating" players? Hmmmm... Yes, TD makes mistakes, but odds are, because he has risen to the top tier in his profession, that he evaluates talent very well -- as does Modrak -- since that is how he made his presence known in this profession.
  15. yeah, sure, because a 7 year old would know what presuppositional opinions are ... I only read into your statement because most of what you have posted before this does not need to be disected to come to this conclusion. Why are you surprised that someone reads this into your statement. If that wasn't your point, I apologize. Your statements just ring true with what you've been saying for way too long.
  16. Here your basic assumption is that JP did something wrong. Do you think the coaches will come out and say something? Really? Pin your hopes on the team, not on your presuppositional opinions on one of the players.
  17. I have never bashed Reed, you, VA constantly bash JP and assume that it's his problem. Don't lecture me or anyone on constant bashing being boring. I simply stated that the body language after the initial-both-looking-at-each-other-mad-cuz-you-did-the-wrong-thing, Reed seemed to take the criticism that JP offered.
  18. the same play happened later in the game (except it was at a different spot on the field). Carr needed a couple for a first down and Fletch chased him while Posey (covering Davis) came off of Davis just in time to stop the first down. Should Posey have done that on the TD play? Things happen way to fast to make the same play everytime, but maybe he knew he blew it on the TD and made sure he didn't blow it again.
  19. I've been on and off the Posey bandwagon a few times, but what I keep coming back to is that in 2003(?) we held the Indy Colts/Manning in check until Posey was injured. I think he is more valuable to our D than we realize. He doesn't make big plays and that's what we want. Alongside Spikes & Fletch, Posey doesn't seem to make any big plays. I think his consistency is what we're missing in evaluating him. There was a reason he was the first FA signing that year.
  20. Reed's initial look was to be angry with JP, but during the walk off the field, he seemed to capitulate. I hope that your comment is simply JP-bashing cuz my friend knows something -- even then, it's tiring.
  21. I thought dorenbos only snapped on punts ...
  22. I feel just as good about McGee this year as I did about Nate the year that AWinfield was in his contract year. I'm not confident, but I trust the braintrust to make the right decision. If they feel McGee will make the next step, they'll let NC walk, just like they did with AW.
  23. it's been on about 6-8 times in the last two months.
  24. Would that be the stellar color commentary man (Marv) who commented just before the opening kickoff on who would receive the 2nd half kickoff.
  25. i can't see the 49ers taking another QB -- I think they trade or select differently -- unless they unload their QB from this year.
