I think the officer asked him what his horse's name was and threw the book at him when he couldn't remember.

Ed had just ridden his horse where the heat was hot.

Sure there's a debate about it. Or there used to be before MADD turned everyone blowing more than Lavoris into baby-killing Satan. I grew up when cops took hazardous drivers off the road for being hazardous, no matter what the reason. A random millennial with a cell phone is odds-on to be more of a hazard than me after a couple malt pops. An arbitrary limit is nonsense; people are different. And don't get me started on checkpoints which somehow passed Constitutional muster. Contrasted to the realm of Buffalo sports DWIs only, this thread is rife with laughable overreactions. But please go ahead and cut bait with a 9OA over it.

Good thing he wasn't wearing his other shirt. Bill O'Brien planted the evidence anyway, wait till all the facts are in.

How McDermott and Frazier confuse offenses

Any insight on the Philly game? I only caught parts of it but it was the one game where the Bills D got beat and beat bad. Which was surprising because the Eagles mostly didn’t look special any other time I caught them. -
Jetnation sure does not lack any confidence

Bills may not belong in that pic. Division games can pit an undefeated against a winless team and it still might end up a crapshoot because division games seem to have a life unto themselves. -

Nah it's the condescension. The whole "oh how we sophisticated urbanites even deign to devote a thought to those inbred double-wide dwelling toothless upstate rubes." I used to think there was nothing that could change that attitude... except maybe a plague resulting from being stacked like human cordwood toward the sky, but I'm recently disabused of the notion. -
Through Bills site/Ticketbastards there was a blurb about tix being fully refundable if game is cancelled or otherwise limited such that the tickets are limited, even for single-game seats.

The Bills' suddenly deadly WR corps

What is with this perception that only Allen makes boneheaded WTF throws in the NFL and that's why he sucks? How many of his plays from scrimmage grade as fails relative to the rest of the league? Does anyone even watch other teams? -

I will be forever haunted wathing John Molchon and Shyheim Carter and thinking, "What might have been?" -
I'll give it free and one half stars

Don't think I've seen anyone touch on this yet. The tape shows him getting tackles off-balance with the arm stab, you think, jeez this guy must really be jacked. But not so much: his bench and body fat were low %ile. He's just naturally a bull with an aikido sense of redirecting the opponent's momentum and doing it with core strength and leverage. By year 3, with pro conditioning, he could maybe even gain half a step for the speed rush, and the arm stab might just put a tackle on his ass. To me that's describing your Watts and Seymours. The more I learn about this pick the more I like it. Like JA, it's crazy to think this kid already does what he does, being as raw as he is.

This so much. The RB too. Beane/McD are building that kind of "beat you on the field or beat you in the alley" squad. I only knew about Karaoke Rush. I'll pass.

Tyler Bass, kicker, might be Bills' best pick
Ralonzo replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
1) PS salary is not a concern with Pegulabucks. Or at least it shouldn't be before the economy armageddoned. 2) So many kickers in the NFL has that story and don't you think Beane knows it? Butker, Hopkins, Lambo, McLaughlin, etc. I'm sure the competition in camp is real, but let's face it. Anything close in accuracy, the tie is broken by leg. The kid's leg is real. And they didn't have to spend a 1st rounder like the Raiders. -
Love that they doubled down on WR in this draft
Ralonzo replied to John from Riverside's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Diggs makes McKittrick redundant. Roberts getting any reps at WR is a waste, last year showed. But he's at his peak at the return game so he is a lock at 6/7. Davis tape looks polished enough for a #5 or #4. Sorry Foster. Hodgins quicks and hands are stupid. Sorry Duke. -

Why would you draft a kicker if you don't want a rookie kicker? -
The only concern I have is, one of the reasons given why management favored Hauschka is his low trajectory cutting through the wind. People have commented on Bass' high trajectory rainmaker kicks, which may be more subject to wind effect. If he can control trajectory it's no problem since he's got power to spare, and let's face it, Hauschka's leg has not had NFL pop since the Hairy Aperson cheapshot.
