  1. They called SAMs because when you eat one, instead of ghosts, you start seeing Darnolds.
  2. That was freakin' hilarious, thanks PEDelman.
  3. Butker with his 3rd XP miss, cut Bass
  4. Mahomes has thrown more cringey balls this game than I've seen from Allen all season.
  5. No. From the "Don't Pay The Perriman" files... Turn Down the Watt
  6. Hey Belichick... tuck you
  7. The price was much higher for Bennett, 2 firsts, a second and running back Greg Bell. But Bennett went in against Denver, his first two snaps were a pressure and a sack iirc, and by Bennett's 3rd snap the Broncos had to double-team him (was at the game). I couldn't remember one guy ever changing a game like that. Edit: Found it, not sure how badly I'm misremembering, but here's Bennett's Bills debut after the long holdout and big trade. 1st snap: 16:05 pressure along w/Smith forces scramble 2nd snap: 27:30 pressure forces incompletion 3rd snap: 46:00 broncos run away from bennett 4th snap: 52:20 another pressure, holding penalty 5th snap: 53:30 bruce with pressure just before bennett, another incompletion Man watching that wind just beat Elway down, makes Allen look that much more impressive for as many windy days in Orchard Park he's already dealt with. Lol barefoot kicker. Also, wasn't it Will Wolford that left for Indy as one of the first significant FA losses for Bills (him and Odomes)?
  8. What's happened is McVay figured out the pre-snap gap assignments for the front-6 in the McD nickel, and what motion will do to the pre-snap gap reads (esp the backers), and he found that it opened up the Bills' defense off-tackle on the side where the motion originates. The result is there's absolutely nobody there for a counter run. The Rams killed the Bills with that, and all of Jacobs damage came on it in the first 2 1/2 quarters. Most of the time the Rams and Raiders ran the motion from their right to left on the formation. It looked to me (I haven't rewatched to verify) like the adjustment the Bills made late was that the end on that side (Murphy or Epenesa) would play contain rather than rush, but the 3-technique (Oliver or Jefferson) would immediately penetrate instead of engage. As a result the play would either get a chunk as it has been doing, but now there's a chance it gets blown up for a loss by the penetrating 3T who's getting to the back before he can get to the hole. The rest of defense on that side seemed to have a key to rally up as well.
  9. If you're thinking of the play I'm thinking of that was Daboll's baby. Set up a screen look on the left side, but throw it to McKenzie on a short crosser from the right and he's got speed heading right into the blockers who plow a path to the first down. Can't remember seeing something like that run before, ever, by anyone. The McKenzie jet 4th-and-1 was a helluva call too. It's nice to have your gadget guys be capable of more than eye candy.
  10. Yeah, I dropped Myers in Seattle for the same reason, and added Carlson because Bills bend-don't-break... 13 points!
  11. Have you been to the game-day threads at all? There's a fair bit of Bass discussion going on.
  12. You can only wait till a young kicker flops and fails with somebody else, and then and only then are they worthy of giving a chance to?
  13. He doesn't know Amharic That said it has a "Praise the Lord but why u do me like that" vibe to it.
  14. "All over the place?" You do realize that was his first missed XP this year, right? He's missed two field goals of which one of them may or may not have been actually missed. The team is 4-0. Every kicker was a rookie at some point. Your take to dump the kicker because maybe the guy might cost the team at some point, based on sheer pessimism and a PFF-style analysis to magnify every wart and diminish every success, is a bad take. Then next year you're doing it all over again with another draft pick or street FA or college detritus.
  15. Do you mean light bulb goes on? Maybe it's like an Easy Bake Oven.
  16. Yeah, and then the clowns. I hate clowns.
  17. I got an idea. Kneel on it twice and win.
  18. That doesn't look like PI to me. But you know, NFL.
  19. Like 5 crackback blocks there
  20. Guess what Chucky's favorite letter is?
  21. Both of those penaltie were crap so it's fitting they offset
  22. LOL he was so short. "Just give it to em"
  23. Not worried, Allen will learn to do that.
  24. Put it on Bass' foot, build the kid up.
