  1. I may not agree completely but that's a perfectly valid assessment, so I won't belabour it. Besides, your handle reminds me of The Zombies whom I do quite like.
  2. Very fast but the breeze from a linebacker knocks him down
  3. He looked very good in preseason action, seemed to have a couple of snaps a game where the tackle barely touched him as he blew past, winning immediately off the snap.
  4. Not a fan of that, more so for the dominoes that follow (i.e. Taiwan probably makes it now)
  5. Are the Giants tanking to get rid of Judge? They can't all be that bad, can they?
  6. It's gonna be Mac Jones, isn't it?
  7. Perhaps one of the "glue factory guys." Wonder if Beane is looking for a player swap for say, corner depth. Too lazy to check for any underperforming guys making something near Addison's hit, on a team that can use DL depth.
  8. He looks like he knows he's playing for his job, but Zimmer and Star are still making the impact that Butler isn't, notwithstanding the hybrids getting reps inside and showing something as well (Bam, Boogie, Efe/#93/the-latest-ex-Panther). Between those 3 having inside ability and Butler being behind (IMO) Star, Horrible and Oliver on the interior there's a path to a 7/3 split or more precisely 3 tackle, 4 edge (Rousseau, Addison, Hughes, Epenesa) and the 3 hybrids.
  9. It wasn't Napoleon McCallum cringe but was still pretty ugly.
  10. The Ford pick seemed to inconsistent with Beane drafting looking for elite traits on high picks and leaning on the coaching staff to form the player (Allen, Rousseau, Edmunds, Knox, Brown). Seemed like a reach at the time to move up at a position of dire need, they had the guy way up on their board apparently. I mean, he’s better than Cyrus Kouandijo at least. We all know who the “traits” guy was on the board at the time.
  11. A pattern-match variation on cover-4. https://www.xsosfootball.com/quarters-coverage-part-1-the-basics/ https://www.arrowheadpride.com/2019/7/1/18772914/summer-of-spags-2-read-coverage-rules-and-permutations
  12. Yeah, and make sure you jump out just before the elevator hits the ground!
  13. I liked both Josh Thomas and Damar Hamlin, wouldn’t want to have a make a call of who to keep. Hughes brought the Hughes Daily Double, a pressure and a penalty. interesting to see Efe/#93/the-latest-ex-Panther rushing from the inside and winning. Bam seemed like he played most of the game and was noticeable, unlike Addison. Andre Smith as was mentioned. Klein playing downhill and making big plays on the goal line stand. Whyte is fast as light but oh so slight and goes down without much fight. the designed plays to Breida generally worked. Fromm was able to execute until McD benched the starting OL and put in the JVs starting secondary is good enough, and Neal too if they can use him right. Meanwhile on the Bobby Hart side of it, refs Don’t know what holding is, or isn’t. Cam Lewis lookeD baaad at times. #49 laced up the roller skates instead of cleats again. Webb getting away with one wow throw but then missing everything. Inability to defend inside runs , would have liked to see 44 out there just to see if that would help
  14. Even if his hand is such that he can’t snap he’s still a plug and play backup to any of the other 4 slots while Mongo slides in.
  15. Aren’t those Houston’s draft picks to begin with?
  16. it’s those weird semi-focus cameras the NFL found in storage from Moonlighting’s cancellation
  17. I mean I know he came out extremely young but I haven’t seen Edmunds level up in a couple years. Still can’t disengage blocks, still misreads the hole to fill. What will it take, other than transplanting Klein’s brain?
  18. Efe/#93/that-latest-ex-panther usage today was primarily on the interior, may be an indicator they thing that might be the path onto the roster (I.e. Butler’s spot) Mod edit: C'mon guys, our DE's name is Efe Obada, not Efe Obama. I keep seeing this, I'm gonna start throwing flags. edit: sorry, phone posting autocorrect. Not intentional.
  19. Steelers are quite the vulgarians. Didnt Darryl Williams basically erase Watt last year?
  20. A wow! throw followed by a bunch of what? throws
  21. That was kind of a wow throw from Webb to Becker
  22. you only need that for center, Mongo can backup there
  23. Fromm is actually well suited to making the kind of drive Josh did on the first drive (except the TD throw)
