Could not agree more with this post. Also, if the Bills did somehow build a downtown stadium, another VERY important factor is a lot of parking and a very easy place to tailgate...Ive never been to Indy, but I have heard that tailgating there sucks. Tailgating has almost taken on a life of its own when it comes to the NFL, this CANNOT be neglegted by teams wishing to build a new stadium

Would'nt WNY'ers have to help pay for a new West Side stadium in New York City? If that would have went through, I doubt New Yorkers would care less that Western new Yorkers, already taxed too much, would have to pay for their stadium... I could be wrong about the West Side thing though, dont remember all the details

Here are my hopes: 1. Either JP Losman or Craig Nall take control of the #1 QB position in Buffalo. Either guy shows positive progress throughout the season and becomes a leader on the team. 2. If Michael Huff is drafted, he becomes an instant starter and gets consideration for Defensive Rookie of the Year. 3. Willis McGahee stays healthy, stays motivated, and takes it to the next level. 4. Takeo Spikes returns at least close to what he was before his Achillies injury. 5. TE Kevin Everett developes into a 40 catch TE who is productive in the red zone. Too much to ask?

Based on this crop of WR's available...better to take on in the draft and hope for the best....

Good post...and I agree about Biron...he made some big saves in the 3rd last night and kept the team within 2 goals...one thing I like about the new Martin Biron is that he closes games better then he used to.... Bottom line for this Sabres team in the playoffs is this: If the rules become different in the playoffs, meaning more stuff will be let go for teams like the Devils, then goaltending and defense becomes most important, and this is where the Sabres are lacking in regards to their strengths. Silver lining though: Besides the Devils with Brodeur, who in the Eastern Conference has a goalie that you can say with almost 100 percent certainity that will be just fine in the playoffs? Ottawa (Emery) No playoff experience Carolina (Gerber) don't know much about him yet Rangers (Lundquivst) Should be fine but who really knows Philly (Nittaymaki) A relative unknown Tampa Bay (Burke and Graham) Does not scare me Montreal (Huet) Again, an unknown commidity So looking at it this way, maybe the Sabres arent in as bad of shape goaltending and defensively as I thought, and looking at this breakdown, now you see why I want NO part of the Devils...in fact, call me nuts, I would not mind Philly at least getting 1 point Friday night, because the Devils are 4 pts behind Philly for the 5th spot.

Well at least Martin is not like his brother and won't tear an ACL celebrating...just trying to find the silver linings
