New rule for me for all Buffalo sports: Just don't even watch the first two months: The Bills and Sabres start out fast, fans start mouthing off and then this. The inevitable 'they show they aren't that good' moment. OVER and OVER. Not much has changed: the 4-0 start means nothing. Wake me up in December when the Bills are rolling if that ever happens and I know it won't with this team. At least PFF is having a ball tonight, they have to be giddy. -

Cmon has anyone here monitored Flight Patters for Bell yet like we did for Bill Cowher? -
Listening to WGR for awhile and reading twtter and come comments here, you would think that Richard Jauron has entered the building and the Bills are back to their losing ways again. Take a breath. Relax. The Bils are still 4-1. Last night was simple: Tennessee had 2+ weeks to prep for this game, the Bills had 3 crucial turnovers that gave the Titans amazing field position. It happens. It was a bad night. Special teams had major breakdowns. Allen had some ill advised throws and was off. The running game was putrid. The Bills weren't outplayed as bad as the score indicates. Just look at our own franchise history, now I know the NFL is different know then in the glory years of the early 90's but.. The 1992 Buffalo Bills started 4-0 and were on fire. Then the Bills lost at home to Miami 37-10, the Bills were hammered, could you imagine this board in 1992? In fact, the Bills lost the next week again 20-3, this place would have melted down. That Bills team of course went in to win the AFC. 1990: Week 2 the Bills were hammered by Miami 30-7, and the Bills proceeded to win their next several games on the way to their first Super Bowl. Am I saying the 2020 Buffalo Bills will enjoy the same results? Who knows. A true measure of how good a team is is how to they react after a bad loss. Let's see what this team is made of next week.

Gameday Thread PreGame Bills @ Titans

Here is the thing we can't lose sight of: For example: 12-4 is a great year in the NFL. If the Bills lose they are 4-1. No reason to say the sky is falling. Im still pumped for the game and I hope Im wrong about tonight! -

I hate to say it I have a bad feeling about this game tonight -
It's possible that the Bills still finish 10-6. Let's be fair folks, we were very very close to be looking at 2-1 right now. The schedule is very tough. Last year the Bills were 10-6 but a lighter 10-6. If this team is 10-6 with one of the hardest schedules in the NFL they will be built for the playoffs much better this time around.

Here is my memory of that game: I was a high school kid and that morning my best friend and his Dad had an extra ticket to the Philadelphia Eagles game in Philly that day. So i wore my #78 Bruce Smith jersey to the game. A enraged Philly fan got in my face 'IS THAT A GIANTS JERSEY' and I said 'No No, Buffalo' and he backed off. Back in those days you had to wait for the scores to loop through on the out of town scoreboard at the Vet. It was 21-9 Denver and it took about 7-10 minutes to cycle through and come back with the score. During a commercial of the Eagles game, it flashes again: Buffalo had a 22-21 lead! I JUMP out of my seat "yeahhhhhh hell yeah''' going WILD and I had Eagles fans throw pretzels at me and curse me off. Ahhhh memories

NFLN replaying the Bills/Rams game, but...

WE know why, NFLN is based in LA and they are livid their beloved LA team lost. Not that anyone in LA really still knows there are 2 NFL teams here anyway.... -
Bills have hardest remaining schedule per FPI ESPN

This is why I can see the Bills being a 10-6 team again this year, but a much better 10-6 then a year ago. -
Josh Allen's stats the last 16 games..
Like A Mofo replied to aceman_16's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
And PFF would still grade this 29th out of 32 NFL starters. -
If PFF was running the point spreads, the Rams would be -7.5

Before beginning I want to say, I am THRILLED over the moon at what we are seeing from Josh Allen, Stefon Diggs, the offense in general and at times the defense. What we COULD see here can potentially be VERY special for the next few years. Having said this... New England showed me last night by coming razor close to winning in Seattle that this is still a team we have to contend with. Newton looks different under a top coaching staff. Defense yes has holes but we all know Bill generally figures things out for his defense as things go along. Talent is huge in sports as we know, but so is the mental aspect, and I still believe deep down inside New England Patriots, despite losing Brady, Gronk and other starters, still have a mental edge over the Buffalo Bills organization, until proven otherwise. McDermott and the coaching staff have been excellent, but have had mixed results against the upper tier coaches in the NFL at least for now. Especially against Belichick. While last year we proved that we are very close to knocking through that door and taking command of the AFC East, and I am FULLY confident the Bills can get over that hurdle, I am still taking this mindset until we truly knock them off, New England is the team to beat.

Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami

Its the right call. It's Week 2. Buffalo is no longer playing for September, we are playing for January. Get both healed for the big picture. -

Im going to respectfully disagree here on the picture that is being painted. Next time there is a cop shooting where it is not a white cop vs black victim, let me know the games leagues sit out at, the kneeling taking place, and the social media outrage displayed. -

It's all about intent. Like with the cops, it seems that the BLM movement, left and others assume, in virtually every scenario, that the cop was racist in their intent to shoot someone. And while in some cases this IS true (and that has to stop we all agree there), it is very dangerous to automatically assume this being the case in every situation, until more facts come out. If the 'movement' truly stood for what some believe it does, count me in, 100 percent. But when you look deeper, its evident they have much bigger and more dangerous agendas them most believe based on what they say and actions. We do need change in our policing, but we don't need to complete change America as we know it to do so, as BLM is out to do. In the NFL's case with the slogans that they are putting in the end zone, is the intent towards ALL races when it comes to racism? Or is it going along with the narrative that these movements are only targeting whites that are racist? We need clarification from the league, because I am going to cautiously assume here these slogans fall right in line with the BLM movement, which appears to be only interested in one race against another in these cases. This is a real roll of the dice by the NFL here; To allow players to put the names of the victims on their helmets and not allow Dallas to put the names of slain cops in Dallas a few years ago, it creates a tricky precedent. From my vantage point I feel this can only hurt their product in the short term. I stand to be corrected if that isn't the case. Another thing; instead of using protests and social media on both sides, its about time we get all these folks together in person. I would bet most of this can be resolved if those involved would meet in person and have discussions about it and move towards resolution. -

I can completely understand how you feel. And here is the thing: When it comes to the political angle to sports, this isn't about 'oh I dont agree with them Im Republican' there is no balance at all: Sports recently has generally proven they are siding with the far left, and pretty strongly. All we want is balance folks. And to enjoy sports. This should not be this difficult.
