  2. SpikedLemonade re-registers under new name and begins anti-Losman crusade.
  3. Congrats to the Canes PLAYERS....and really, that is about it... And to all who believe there are hockey "gods", last 2 Finals: Calgary vs Tampa Bay- Tampa Bay wins Edmonton vs Carolina- Carolina wins... There are NO hockey gods...or any sports gods for that matter. Zero. So what will happen the next few years (if Bettman gets his wish)...let's examine: 2006-2007 Florida vs Detroit- Florida wins Cup 2007-2008 Atlanta vs Calgary- Atlanta wins Cup 2008-2009 Montreal vs Nashville- Nashville wins Cup That right there is the "Bettman" dream...sigh
  4. Jealousy? How about recognizing that the Canes were given a HUGE break without the Sabres having 4 of their TOP defenceman.....I do not care what level you play at, college, minors, or the NHL...you take away 4 of the top d-men away from ANY team and you let me know if that will affect them. Jealousy..over what, a team that can barely sellout CONFERENCE FINAL playoff games??? Also, it seems you take great joy in bashing WNY....and you are a Bills fan??
  5. I wanted to watch the USa/Italy game...but I cannot get off the sex world cup site you posted...what games?
  6. It does...but NJ sucks and I am counting down the days till I can move out of this $**hole state.
  7. Just do what I do. Don't watch that crap network.
  8. Man I went to 11 shows with Vince at the keyboards....RIP Vince
  9. Toronto TORONTO - Canadian authorities said Saturday they had foiled plans for terrorist attacks in southern Ontario with the arrests of 17 people who were "inspired by al-Qaida." The Royal Canadian Mounted Police said they had arrested 12 male adults and five youths on terrorism-related charges, including plotting attacks with explosives on Canadian targets. The suspects were either citizens or residents of Canada and had trained together, they said. "This group took steps to acquire three tons of ammonium nitrate and other components necessary to create explosive devices," said assistant Royal Canadian Mounted Police commissioner Mike McDonell. That is three times the amount used to blow up the Murrah Federal Building in Oklahoma City, he said, referring to the April 19, 1995, attack that killed 168 people and injured more than 800.
  10. I agree Lana...and I did a double take when I saw JSP with the avatar too. Reading all these comments about Paul makes me wish I would have talked to him more on the site
  11. Same here, that would make the 06-07 season even MORE special!
  12. I also compare the 2005-2006 Devils to the 1993-1994 Devils....a team that had 106 pts and lost a heartbreaking Game 7 in the ECF to the New York Rangers....while in no way am I suggesting Miller will be anywhere near Brodeur, I do see some simalarities between the two. Let's hope this just makes this Sabres team that much hungrier...Golisano gets er done in the offseason!!!
  13. Man that more I think about that...all those problems...and they still were 18 minutes away from pulling it off!! Dammit!
  14. No Buffalo Sabres team has ever made me more proud. No Buffalo Sabres team has ever had the heart, character, and determination this team has had. The Sabres played the majority of the Eastern Conference Finals without 3 of the Top 4 defensemen in their lineup, and to top things off, Jay McKee was unable to play in Game 7. And despite facing these odds, the Sabres fought through this adversity and pushed a Carolina team who was much healthier and had home ice to the brink. Part of me though feels cheated or snakebit...not saying the Sabres lost because of bad calls, just wish the Sabres did not suffer such devastating injuries on the blue line. That clearly changed this series, so the feelings are bittersweet this morning, because I truly believe the Sabres are better then Carolina and now the season is over. For the teams accomplishments, Lindy Ruff and the rest of the Buffalo Sabres organization should be proud. Darcy Regier deserves a lot of praise as well for piecing this team together. Kudos to Darcy! The future is bright for the Sabres. Ryan Miller had an excellent 1st season, he showed an ability to come back from bad games and play strong, he will only learn from these playoffs. Chris Drury showed again he is a clutch performer, and Danny Briere also showed he can get it done in the big games. Sabres are loaded at forward, and even a guy like Taylor Pyatt, who we never thought would be a factor this year, at times looked like one of the best forwards in the playoffs. Thank you Sabres. Thank you for making this spring an exciting ride.
  15. Bills are picked 31 by an EXPERT?? Yep, that's it. Season is over!
