  1. So after 1 week we can tell the Bills are better and the Dolphins are worse? That 31-0 whipping the Bills gave New England in 2003 really showed how good the Bills were right????
  2. ESPN' reaction: Since New England obtained the 1st round pick from Seattle: The Pats genius shows again. They just reload for the draft and will get the best of this deal. Hypothetical scenario #2: Buffalo Bills have Deion Branch, trade him to Seattle for the same 1st round pick: ESPN's reaction: The Bills really reached here. Ralph Wilson is old and still cannot read the CBA. Bills have no clue what they are doing, and remember, just like Trey Wingo says 500 times, the Bills gave up a 1st round pick for Losman
  3. Another year, another game at New England, another 4th quarter where Belicheck gets most of the calls in the 4th. Funny how the Bills were the only team committing mistakes in the 4th. It is the same old story, just let it go everyone. SO Hollywood and other Pats trolls here, feel free to reply to me and give me more info to get yourselves off the day after the game. Hope you feel good about it.
  4. I was shocked! I thought Saban was the greatest coach in NFL history? What gives?
  5. Of course the Fins will win tonight...and the next 15 games... Saban > Lombardi Why? Because now the media is riding the new wave: Well since Belichek took a vacation to go see Saban and talk defensive strategy in Louisiana, that GUARANTEES that Saban is ALREADY a great HC after 1 9-7 season in the NFL??? So why fight it?
  6. That has nothing to do with the fact Bill Parcells started coaching the Pats that same 1st year right? Bottom line: Without a legend like Parcells in New England, NE fans would NEVER have come to the stadium in droves like they did. What if Pete Carroll was there for Kraft's 1st season? Would all the games have sold out?
  7. Ill say the Jets. The 2 first games are a tough spot for the Bills.
  8. Good summary WVU!!! Its amazing, but when I read NFl previews and then read posts like this and others here, people here are not paid and yet the previews here are as good if not better then the ones on the newsstands
  9. There are posts here on this board that complain about the lack of publicity the Bills get from the national media...and yes, of course all Bills fans would want to see other NFL fans and "experts" talk about the Buffalo Bills, but given how this team was hyped the last few years....I believe Bills fans need to embrace the silence on shows like NFL Live. My new motto for the 2006 Bills: 2006 Buffalo Bills: Zero Expectations One of the things that made the 2005-2006 Buffalo Sabres so enjoyable to watch was the expectation factor before the season started. Very few "experts" picked the Sabres to do much of anything. And watching the team exceed those expectations by far IMO was one of the most enjoyable moments for me as a Buffalo sports fan since 1982. Now I am not suggesting that the Buffalo Bills will go 12-4 and make it to the AFC Championship game, but given the hype of the TD era only to be disappointed time after time....just go into this season with a worry free attitude...just enjoy watching the Buffalo Bills....enjoy the tailgates....enjoy watching the team grow...or fail...no expectations. Because if the Bills do anything good, it will be so much more enjoyable then seeing the TD overhyped era of Buffalo Bills football lose a playoff berth to a 4th string QB. So forget ESPN. Forget HBO sports, ABC etc. Forget what bafoons like Colin Cownerd say. Just sit back and enjoy the games.
  10. Because professional athletes, unlike you and some other Bills fans here, do not hang on every word these "experts" like Colin Cownerd or whoever say and yearn for attention from ESPN all the time. This is a division game and the home opener for New England, why in the world would anyone think New England is looking past this game?
  11. Those who have a 10 timer on the game, those who have LT on their fantasy team and need 3 points to win Week 1 of their league, and and the ones who have consumed 6+ beers and are wired up. Beer, Gambling, and Fantasy Sports: The REAL ratings boosts for the NFL
  12. New England 28 Buffalo 17 Over Under on gift calls given to Belichek and the Pats: 3 1/2 Ill take the over.
  13. True, but I think the key is now to buck the trend of the "experts" and dictate how the draft will flow. I do some Yahoo online leagues just for fun and I notice almost consistently the people pick right along with the pre draft default rankings. And as for this poll, seems it is a slam dunk choice for now
  14. There are many examples of overexposure in life: Song gets overplayed on the radio, media focuses too much attention on a celebrity etc. Now has Fantasy Football been affected? For me it has. I still enjoy it, but so many commercials now about fantasy football for me has taken some of the joy out of it. Thoughts?
  15. Or written by Trey Wingo in disguise. I love how that tool to this day likes to point out that the Bills paid a 1st rounder for JP...and he is getting paid, makes me sick!
