I do not think message boards are the best tool to determine a coach's worth or potential.

    I am sorry to break the news to you and other Bills fans who have delusions, but Buffalo is one of the least desirable markets in sports. Plus, when you factor in an owner who let so many good players just leave for various reasons (Peters, Clements, Winfield, Pat Williams, Fletcher etc) you begin to have a reputation around the league. Ralph, you reap what you sew.

    thinking this over about the rumors of Billick and Cowher assembling a staff, I have to believe a criteria for an interview for a vacant NFL Head Coaching job has to be 'who would be on your staff' and it has to be SOP to do this BEFORE even seriously considering the NFL job in the 1st place... So having said this, why take any stock in assembling staff at all?
