Right now the offense has hit rock bottom, and if Bledsoe is indeed out short term QB, why not attempt another short term solution??? I bet Bledsoe will have a couple of very good games, and believe me I hope Bledsoe finds a way to get back on track, but I give him virtually zero chance to beat any team that is at least a decent defense on the road, its been proven over and over that he wont.

Why Jeff George over Shane Matthews even?? Matthews has played on some god awful teams, and went through a year of the Fun, Duck and Cover offense of Steve Spurrier and still threw 11 TD and 6 INT in 9 games...

Maybe MM just sees that this team needs a kick on the ass, and making this move will get the players attention, and the timing IMO is good too...during a bye week, especially when you consider the next game is virtually a must-win if the Bills want any chance of being in the post-season, they cannot afford to fall to 0-3 in the AFC.

I could never bring myself to become a die hard fan of any team but the Bills....I hav e alot of close friends that are Eagles fans, so I casually support the Eagles when I go the the games with my friends...but if the Bills move, I say saynora to the NFL for life.

I was thinking back to the days maybe 10-15 yrs ago when the Bills had rough losses, and living down here in NJ where there are all Jets, Giants fans and Cowboys fans that are off and on the bandwagon again, not many wanted to talk serious Bills football, there was no internet, so venting was tougher. But just seeing what has happened this yr so far, its nice to come here and commensurate with fellow Bills fans in the shortcomings of our beloved team, its nice that the venting you do during the game is felt by so many others when you come here. SDS, you do a fantastic job with this site and many thanks, especially to my friend tmk-nj who told me about this site in the first place, and to all the friends ive made on here, especially T-80, R.Rich, and so many others that are just escaping me at the moment (definately not forgotten though!!), but I enjoy reading all your posts! Lets hope the Bills can pull this season together, AT LEAST lets hope for some progress to be made, maybe WM will get more time, maybe JP can come back and show us something. But first things first...Lets pull off the upset and beat the SB Champs!! GO BILLS AND GO YANKEES!!!

I really dont think it can get any worse..why not play Matthews? Maybe just for a shot in the arm to the team, who knows??? Bledsoe is a SHORT TERM QB here anyway, so is Matthews, sure we scored 20 pts, but that TD yesterday was almost like a garbage TD IMO.

Thats true T-80...maybe if they had Flutie or something it would be looked at differently...but I think most Bills fans would agree...luxury box or not, this team NEEDS a change under center.
