  1. 2-2 now...Beltran is the man!!! Go get him King George!!!!
  2. I agree, but based on what has happened in this series, there is now ENOROMOUS pressure on the Yankees, imagine King George's reactions after his Yankees, that he spends a huge coin on, is the only team in MLB HISTORY to lose a 3-0 lead, and besides that, lose it to the hated Red Sox? I thought all along there was more pressure on the Red Sox, more people thought this was their year, but now I think a little more pressure is on the Yankees right now then at any point in this series.
  3. Its funny but I was thinking about who that is too..and his posts are hilarious...definately isnt me...so thats 2 down!!!
  4. Very good news....lets just hope the bills stay away from turnovers too
  5. I picked the Red Sox, Im always wrong (God I hope I am again!!!!) GO YANKEES
  6. I thought the jokes were hilarious too R.Rich, I dont know why some got so bent out of shape about it...Great post.
  7. Oh the horror of that thought.... GO YANKEES PLEASE FOR THE LOVE OF RUTH!!!
  8. Absolutely...and he was never short of being passionate about a issue about the Bills. I hope he comes back too.
  9. I totally agree steve...and another thing...isnt it unbelievable that a Guest poster is calling for one of the best posters on TBD to be banned??? Thats a joke. R.Rich has my support 1000 percent.
  10. Saw this quote in the Newark Star-Ledger from the Boss: If the Yanks lose, expect a $250M payroll in 05.
  11. Good points by you too...but im just looking at it after what happened after 4 weeks...before the season, playoffs, super bowl, thats what I wanted more then anything too...but now after reassessing the situation, Ill take anything that is positive
  12. I dont consider that a losers mentality at all. First off, we have won many World Series titles as it is...that has part to do with my thought process. With your Bills analogy, I do agree with you, because we havent won the Super Bowl yet.
  13. But to be a curse, dosent it have to last for at least 40, 86 years??
  14. Interesting thought. Id say go with El Duqe and then its all hands on deck....
  15. In todays NFL, to me its always about "why not?" We have seen so many uncharastic things take place in the NFL now versus the old days, who knows, why cannot the Bills turn this around and make a Wildcard run? I highly doubt it but why not?? But the thing Im looking for most is progress. Progress with McGahee and seeing what he can bring to the table. Progress with JP Losman to see how he plays and gain valuable experience. Progress with the OL, which usually takes longer to develop and come together then any positions on the team. Progress with Lee Evans taking over the #2 WR position on this team. I think of it this way. After the 0-4 start, if the Bills go 7-5 from that point on, its a start. At least we will then have seen progress, we will have something to look forward too in the future with Willis, JP and Evans, and we wont have to hear Cowboys fans yapping about getting a Top 5 pick.
  16. It is the battle of: "The Curse of Da Boneman" vs "The Curse of Joe Six Pack"
  17. Sam Horn played the Red Sox back in the late 80s I believe
  18. True...Im not even sure if the starting pitchers are that relevant tonight....they both will be on short leashes, at least I imagine they will be. Tom Gordon is the P that REALLY scares me
  19. Kevin Brown makes me nervous, Ill say that much
  20. Arent you the one who started the Who's your Daddy thread? Did i start a "izzy is overrated" thread??
  21. Boy if this curse is truly real (which I really dont believe) its really being tested, isnt it???
