Agreed, I really havent heard anyone say "start losman now and we will be 11-5" If so, please seek medical assistance. Lets just see what he can do and like I said a few times today, if the sacks suddendly go down and the running game improves, then we will know where the problem was. If the current production level continues, then we can point our fingers more at the OL.

How about this one in honor of our QB: The Buffalo Bills. Just give us more time.

Remember 1986: The fan-fare surrounding Jim Kelly's arrival. I still remember that 86 opener agains the Jets very well, sold out Rich, I remember seeing a sign in the crowd "Kelly is God" in the stands...even though it was a 28-24 loss (I think that was the score) you could sense that was just the beginning of something good. Now there was a lot of pressure on Jim to perform, but will there be just as much if not more on Losman? We all know about the 1st round pick that Dallas will receive, it will probably be a Top 10 pick at the worst, what if that pick is a franchise player? Then what if Losman is another RJ?? How far will this set back the Buffalo Bills as a franchise?? Plus the GM's reputation is totally on the line with Losman, if he fails, sayora to TD. Am I losing my mind, or am I reaching for anything because we are 1-5?? Thoughts?

Will Bringing Losman In at QB Help the Bills?
Like A Mofo replied to Fake-Fat Sunny's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
This was something I found about Losman when he was just out of college: Height : 6-3 Weight: 220 40-Yard Dash: 4.72 Positives: J.P. Losman has the physical attributes you want in an NFL quarterback. He has good size (6-3, 220) and strength, a very strong arm that can make all the throws including the deep out, and one of the quickest releases in all of college football. Losman has decent agility, and good speed. He also has above average athletic ability. He can make plays with his feet and can throw on the run. He's a fiery competitor, a tough leader and can take a hit. He doesn't get shaken often. Negatives: Losman doesn't set his feet real well, throws off his back foot often causing the ball to sail, and doesn't rotate his hips properly. At Tulane, he played mostly out of the shotgun and will have to adjust to playing under center. He tends to rush his throws at times and will force the pass too often. Sometimes tries to make too much happen by himself. Also needs to work on reading coverages a little better. -

Never!!!" "Im STILL not over the Sox blowing 2-0 lead to the Cards!!!" -

That would be sweet!!!!! -
I agree... And maybe we can find out a little more about the Bills OL with a QB change, that is just as important.

Wow. And in the middle of the season. Spurrier will be back.

As sad as that sounds I agree with you T

I do for some yes. But then FOX shows 21 year olds in the bar attempting to show them as long and suffering Red Sox fans, I just dont buy it.
-
If the Red Sox win Ill tip my cap to them and congragulate the Red Sox fans on this board who have class... But NO WAY can I root for them as a Yankees fan.

Seriously, its time to get off your knees

Vinny T is high on that list too, is he a great QB? -
I see similarities between the 2004 Bills
Like A Mofo replied to Like A Mofo's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I hope so too. I really believe there are several members of the Bills who just do not have any confidence in Drew right now. The offense needs a new voice. -
Last year the Jaguars started 1-7 and looked awful, but then they went to Byron Leftwich right around that time or a little before...and towards the end of the season you can see the progress they made. They have Fred Taylor, a very good veteran WR in Jimmy Smith, a solid defense was forming too. Now look at them. 5-2 and on top on the AFC South. Now we need to get J.P.Losman under center ASAP, let him go through the growing pains. Difference in Willis McGahee and Taylor is that Fred is a vet, but right now you can see glimpses why McGahee was a elite college RB. Moulds is a very good WR just like Jimmy Smith. Lee Evans will continue to improve. We have a solid defense, we still need a DE to get to the QB more often, hopefully that can be addressed. Buffalo has a rookie HC, like Jack Del Rio was last year for the Jags. Remember Del Rio's antics early on in 2003 weren’t sitting well with their fans and the media? That’s not an issue anymore. Here is the one difference that the Bills need to address: The offensive line. The 03 Jags OL last year was much more stable then the current Bills OL. Here is an article from last season about the Jags OL: 2003 Jags OL The OL better damn well be this team’s focal point going into the 2004 offseason. Im hoping J.P can start and get this Bills team some confidence, something to build on for 2005. This Bills team is in desperate need of a lift, and Losman might do the trick. I hate thinking about 2005 already but 2004 is done, no playoffs to worry about. Thoughts?

What's the worst problem on this team?
Like A Mofo replied to KurtGodel77's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
I voted for QB..... Yes the OL has problems...but most teams have OL issues... If another QB steps in and has the same problems, then we will know for sure its the OL. Lets find out already dammit!!!
