  1. Just my opinion, sometimes I am incorrect and sometimes I am. I really think the Jets threw off the trajectory of the Bills with that trade. Yeah yeah I know the Jets are always bad generally and usually make mistakes, but a broken clock is right twice a day. And it may have just happened for the Jets. Let's just hope the Bills nailed the pick with Josh Allen and the Jets and Bills matchups have great meaning over the next decade or more.
  2. Me too but also in some small way arrogant, spoiled Giants fans need this too.
  3. Only if the Bills bring back Brett Favre too. And while at it. JP Losman, who seemed to have a creepy admiration of Brett Favre in red shorts.
  4. Darnold is going to be a star. And to think the team in NY that wins the most, the Giants, PASSED on Darnold to take a RB, which may in turn bring the Jets to glory. Giants fans will have a hard time dealing with this.
  5. It was a team effort. Defense could not make stops. Reed dropped a pass. Talley missed some plays. It was a great game, someone had to lose sadly, and it was us. If we played that Giants tam 10 times, we probably win 8. That Sunday the Giants got the better of us.
  6. I feel bad for those at the Buffalo News who will likely lose a job, as the inevitable down-slide of the newspaper industry as we know it continues. As for some of the sports writers there, I would like to feel for them, but when guys like Sullivan act like pompous a-holes, it's hard to sympathize. Let this be a lesson to EVERYONE: No matter what you do for a living in life, remember work is temporary. We are all replaceable. Don't let it get to your head.
  7. If Chad's last name is Collins, or Adams, or whatever, this thread does NOT exist. That is like saying 'I would rather have Mike Tolbert than Reggie Bush"
  8. Atlantic City got what it needed. May be too late, but the city needed a jolt and this is a help.
  9. Good idea I like this! I remember the 1998 season and my uncle and I going to Buffalo from New Jersey as the 0-3 Bills hosted the 4-0 49ers who were rolling with Steve Young. Rob Johnson had in my mind his best game as a Bill and I remember SF was called for 22 penalties and the Bills stunned SF. Got the ball rolling for the amazing recovery to make the playoffs that season.
  10. I don't care if the NFL Draft is on Jupiter, as long as the Bills kill their drafts, Im good.
  11. I've heard of him. MCBeane sign him. Put on ESPN. Bills fans yearn for attention from the media. Realize they don't get it. Rinse. Repeat.
  12. Mike Rodak must be inconsolable over this. All the button pushing he put on Bills fans for this. My condolences Rodak.
  13. This will be a cool story in about 1-2 years when Daboll likely moves onto another position or is fired.
  14. I still think Darnold has the best shot at being great. Allen can be very good or be Leaf.
  15. One thing that I have noticed with age and also with message boards and social media. I really cannot find many, if any (and including myself) that do not have moments of being hypocritical and cherry picking items to fit my own or other people's agendas. This is a human trait. And just about everyone has it. That's why I won't throw a lot of stones at experts anymore. We are all guilty at some level.
  16. The irony of what is bolded here is not lost on me, nor should you. YOU are the one who craves to be correct.
  17. 37-24 in favor of Josh Allen, same score as Super Bowl 26, Josh is here to reverse the curse
  18. I think both sides, including yours and the other, are certifiable nuts, but that is another topic for another part of the board
  19. Question: I hard one draft expert on WGR a few days ago state 'The analytics suggest that Josh Allen will not become a franchise QB' What analytics is he referring to? Anyone know where they are available? Thanks in advance
  20. One Bills Live should be renamed 'One Bills Quiet' after this incident.
  21. I think some experts, those that analyze the draft for a living, and us fans (including myself) were very skeptical of this pick initially in large part because of Buffalo's constant failings to truly address the QB issue through the draft for many years if not decades. If New England moved to 7 and took Josh Allen, I bet your perspective, and some of these talking heads, would be different about Allen just based off of the fact they view New England as the end all that be all and rarely 'get stuff wrong' in their eyes. There MUST be something good about Allen, I mean Bill took him correct? But Buffalo does and it's a probable miss subconsciously because of recent history. I admit: When the Bills moved up to 7 I wanted Josh Rosen. When Roger said Josh, the fans where I watched the game cheered, and then I realized it was Allen, I was disappointed. We are tired of having these QB's who have a boom or bust potential, we are all wanting that guy who appears to be the real deal and the safest pick. Truth of the matter? That does not exist. 31 different QB's have won a Super Bowl. 31. That's it. It's VERY hard to find that guy. EXTREMELY. Maybe the best bet IS to bet, meaning go for the gold and don't settle for the next Alex Smith. And Beane just went all in with Josh Allen with a high pair. Let's hope Allen beats the odds and wins the pot for us fans.
