  1. I still think Pittsburgh will be exposed at just the wrong time, watch.
  2. When I rip into ESPN, Im not saying there should be NO ESPN. I just think ESPN cateres more to the new fan, and is slowly forgetting about the fans that helped them become the empire they are. When it comes to some shows, they are good. But if we are talking Sportscenter, I havent watched that crap show in months, that show is pure garbage.
  3. I think this post is just another one of these posts: LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!!!!
  4. I think the Bills will struggle, but will gut out a win and get to 6-6 Buffalo 17 Miami 14
  5. I will never wager on a TV return to the lineup, maybe he will grace us with his presence by Christmas!!!
  6. How does Mark VI's desires to see this team become a legitimate Super Bowl Contender indicate that he is "giving up"??....Do you think his views would be different if the Bills were 8-3? Im sure they would be. But the fact is we are 5-6 with 6 AFC losses. Listen, Id LOVE to see the playoffs, but cmon man, go play some lotto scratchoffs, you might have a better chance of hitting big on one of those then seeing the Bills make the playoffs. I like the fact some Bills fans are ALWAYS looking to see how things can improve EVEN MORE instead of JUST going rah rah rah we win!! etc...Im VERY excited about the Bills resurgance, but im not getting ahead of myself. Besides, even if we did sneak in the playoffs, where are they going in this conference right now? There are bigger fish to fry down the line.
  7. I do give King credit for mentioning he didnt like the move at the time and he didnt.
  8. Damn R.Rich, I dont blame you for feeling hostile towards MLB being an Expos fan, it is a shame what MLB and Expos ownership did to that franchise, it could have worked there if they really tried. I do remember the player who flipped the bird to the fans, that was Jack McDowell giving the one finger salute to the Yankees fans! I love college basketball too R. Rich, I have soured on the NBA much for the same reason you have as well. I used to share season tickets to the Knicks. Now I wouldnt even consider it, even if I had the money.
  9. Was it the 94 strike that disheartned you R. Rich?
  10. I disagree, and Im not even sure if that is relevant to this poll. Its about which streak is more impressive in the context of each players respective sport.
  11. Mine is obvious too but I wouldnt mind changing it...can that be done??
  12. I hate to be one to ruin the fun, but if Cincy upsets Baltimore...they are 6-6 with a conference win and a home game with Buffalo....Cincinnati has a better chance then we do... Having said that, I am VERY excited about the Bills turnaround: Mission 10-6!!!!!!!!
  13. I agree steve. Am I fired up today more then usual because of the Bills game? YES Do we have a lot of look forward too with this team? I believe so. Should Bledsoe be commended for his improved play over the last 7 weeks as a whole? Sure... Should Drew get a key to the city from some Bills fans after this performance yesterday? NO!!! Is Losman going to be our QB in the near future? YES!!!
  14. The title and the 1st post of this thread proves one thing: If you want attention, just say something off the wall or moronic...and you will get your responses!!! LOOK AT ME!!!!!!!
  15. Dont mean to burst anyones bubbles here... But the Jets are 8-3 and the Ravens are 7-4: 2 teams we dont have the tie breaker over either.. Damn those first 2 games!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  16. Agreed. Getting to .500 would be a great confidence booster for this team being that the Bills were 0-4. One game at a time. And Im really not thinking playoffs. If they were 6-5, then I would give it a thought.
  17. Hey Ill sign off for that too!! and WIN them all!! Another point: Sure we dont have Bruce Talley, etc..that was a different era of football, things like that will be far and few between in the salary cap era...the whole thing with feeling somewhat like 87 is you can see something REALLY starting to build here, of course we arent close to beating the SB Champs or the elite, but it sure seems like we are a hell of a lot closer now then we were about 7 weeks ago
  18. ZZZZZ?? I like recaps that just dont have the rosy sunglasses on and looks at ALL angels of the game, not just the great ones. I enjoyed the recap ICE and agree with a lot you said
  19. Im not trying to say JP is EXACTLY like Kelly and this 2004 team is EXACTLY like 1987....Ill show part of the title of this thread again and bold an important part: Its starting to feel a little like 1987 Not 100 percent!!!
  20. I remember 1987, because that was the year some things were finally coming together for the Bills. Even though that team didnt make the playoffs, that 87 team provided a lot of optimism going into 88 and beyond. Right now in 2004, Im getting that same feeling: McGahee is the real deal OL is gelling Sacks are WAY down, a testament to McNally and McGahee Team is winning their home games, and have FINALLY broken through on the road Anyone agree????
