  1. Agree completely. Plus we need to control the ball so our defense does not wear down. Home opener, get Allen going early and some confidence.
  2. If Daboll is a good OC, I would limit Josh to about 25 attempts: McCoy gets a healthy load of carries, and Ivory in the mix too. Scale the playbook down a little, get Josh into a rhythm
  3. From your keyboard to the football God's ears I hope you are right: I would LOVE to be wrong about Josh Allen believe me
  4. I am a Christian and Ill just be blunt: I don't care if the QB worships Japanese anime: I just care that he is a franchise QB. What he does on his own time is for him alone.
  5. Daboll will go by the wayside like so many other Bills OC hires: And why? This organization does not know how to draft a QB.
  6. This is good news: Since it is highly likely Josh Allen busts: Let's get this out of the way now do we can look for other options in 2019.
  7. Mike Rodak is having the week of his life: Bills are a mess: Jokes galore, now his Pats get Coleman? Rodak is in paradise.
  8. I am saying its time to take off the rose colored glasses here. I have lost a lot of trust in McBeane. Patrick Mahomes said yesterday loud and clear how much he learned playing behind a guy like Alex Smith and now a guy like Chad Henne, Really credited them. Who will Josh Allen credit? AJ McCarron isn't fantastic, but he is a HELL of a lot better then pious NP.
  9. Where is a true vet to lead this team for several weeks? Where is a QB who has years of experience that can be valuable for Josh Allen? Nowhere to be found: Beane sent him to Oakland. No, we kept Peterman, who telegraphs throws and is nowhere near a functional starter. That is squarely on McBeane, and I believe puts them on the chopping block. Is that THAT bad of an oversight.
  10. Ill say this: I do agree Beane has a big hand in this too. Cannot believe the Bills left the QB cupboard so bare with Allen needing time to develop. MAJOR mistake.
  11. Im not saying Taylor is a long term answer, but I have to think McDermott's 'pious' obsession with NP has cost him dearly in the locker room, and they are botching Josh Allen's developement similar to that of EJ. Andy Reid drafted Mahomes and they kept Alex Smith there, Im sure that had a very positive effect on Mahomes. Even Mahomes said how much of a positive influence Chad Henne is. Where is that vet here to mentor Josh Allen? McDermott is a fool.
  12. 1. In a 17 game stretch, as a NFL Head Coach you have lead your team to not 1, not 2, but 3 games where your team has lost by 30 points or MORE 54-24, 47-10, and 47-3. Another game at the Jets, the score was much closer then the compete level, on national TV and another embarrassment. 38-24 final was a complete mirage. That is 4 performances that were completely embarrassing. That is 4/17 career games. Terrible ratio. How many good coaches do you know have those kinds of performances on their resume? PLUS, the coach has some kind of strange obsession with a 5th round pick from Pitt, and not only is that QB bad in 2 games, it costs the Bills Tyrod Taylor, and AJ McCarron as they are both jettisoned in large part to McDermott's odd infatuation with NP. Some might say these are fireable offenses. Count me in as one of them. I have ZERO trust that Sean McDermott has the ability to select the right QB for this team.
  13. Agree, and the table has a burning Pats flag on it and Rodak can wrap around his favorite team
  14. Very positive addition to the board. I hope you are right for your sake to feed your craving to seek validation for being right about Josh Allen. Good luck.
  15. Sadly, I do not think this will be that far off. Last year the Bills got to 9-7 with smoke and mirrors. The schedule is brutal. Also, look at the bottom feeders from last year. Giants, Browns, Colts all will be substantially better just to name a few. 5-11 for Buffalo in 2018. Which, in a league where I think there are very few truly bad teams, will garner the Bills a Top 3-5 pick in the 2019 NFL Draft.
  16. I went with 5-11. Terrible start, better finish. Allen gets in and shows flashes. Future bright for 2019 and beyond
  17. This thread proves one thing. Some fans priority isn't the team and the success of our team. It is about 'look at me I was right'
  18. I still say the odds of Josh Allen busting are better then where we want him to be: Find out sooner then later so we can move on faster if we have to
  19. I may be in the minority on this: But if Allen is sitting I still want AJ McCarron under center Week #1 at Baltimore despite the preseason numbers.
  20. Come to terms with this all of you to give yourself peace of mind: The majority of the national football media absolutely craves Buffalo to be bad. Very bad. They relish in it. They need it. They also know how sensitive this fan base is. They push the buttons and we click. We get annoyed. They get off on it. Some of them don't want to talk about NFL cities like Buffalo. They want the same teams to be the same great so they can recycle the same talking points. It makes their jobs easier. Plus, some of them don't want to travel there to cover the team. Let these words flow into your mind and you won't care what any of these people say.
  21. This is why if I am Beane I am NOT dealing my 2019 1st for Mack at this time. I would only consider dealing the 2020 1st. If the Bills have a completely horrible 3-13 year and that pick turns out to be the #1 pick, dealing it now would be a disaster.
