  1. DIdn't the Chiefs start 5-0 last year crushing teams?
  2. I think the evaluation process was so different then. Blackledge especially, I have been a PSU fan since 1981 and I don't remember him being all that good, he was a good QB in college on a stacked team. I think scouts etc back then valued wins and team success in college more then they do now.
  3. Bills play a spirited game but in the end too much A-Rod: Green Bay 26, Buffalo 17 No guarantee this week, I hope I am dead wrong this time!
  4. 60 percent of the time, it works everytime
  5. The way the national media is still going gaga, I'm shocked that Baker Mayfield didn't win this award too
  6. Thanks TPS, I say about the prediction I made: Even a broken clock is right twice a day! As for Green Bay this week, I cannot guarantee, just not that same feeling haha
  7. Thank you all glad that the Bills won for all of us some of the posts were hilarious and some like DC Tom well keep thinking you are superior by calling me a moron, stay classy
  8. Bolded part is hilarious right off the bat, and the fact the username is BringBackOrton. So hilarious
  9. Of course he is. This guy sounds like he lives in a basement and trolls all day and yearns for attention and validation. Tell him to clean his room.
  10. A sobering fact: From my count (i could be wrong by 1 or 2) 31 different QB's in SUPER BOWL history (just keeping this argument to Super Bowls) have won at least 1. 31 out of 52 seasons, 28-32 teams in the league most years. Do the math, lets say over those 52 years there have been an average of 28 teams vying for the SB at the same time. 52 * 28 = 1456 different teams different years over that time frame. And of the 52 winners, only 31 DIFFERENT QB's. 0.02% of the time. The odds are super slim folks. What every fan should root for is a QB that gives the Bills a LEGIT chance to win, maybe 4 out of say 12 years. And hope we get 1. Stop comparing to Brady, Manning or the like. Those odds are amazingly slim.
  11. This story is all a byproduct of a Tuesday night in November 2016 where an election didn't go their way and this is the go to excuse for everything to garner clicks, comments and rage. Sadly, racism is now used to sell. Not for the actual issue itself.
  12. My feeling is this: I can be critical of this franchise, I'm not a kool aid fan. Once in awhile though, you have to be positive. Why the hell can't we win? More then anything, just want to see this team fight they way they did in the 2nd half against the Chargers.
  13. Great comments in this thread. Ill be here to gloat afterwards. If its awful, Ill eat crow!
  14. 1. Minnesota might have a let down this game, this match-up is sandwiched between Green Bay and at Philadelphia. 2. McDermott calling plays will help this defense a lot. I feel a chip on the shoulder game coming this week after the embarrassment of those first 6 quarters. 3. After all, we always seem to win NFC games over the last decade. 4. Defense creates 3 turnovers, Shady finally runs a little, 23-21 upset. 5. Someone had to right? LAMP is in style.....
  15. Fair point and this also comes back to Chris Carter and his rant about most players being good system players and I agree with him. The thing that we need to focus on is: Is Josh Allen in the best system and organization for him to succeed? Beane needs to be all in on that way of thinking, much like the Rams are with Goff.
  16. Patrick Mahomes really credits guys like Chad Henne for his development so I am not sure what you mean that this is an 'old and recycled' way of thinking
  17. I understand what you mean but the Nico and Nolan Patrick draft there wasn't that term: it is entirely possible that the NHL may have a golden era of franchise players coming into the league but most would never know it given the NHL's lack of vision and trying to market these players better.
  18. Writers like Mike Rodak must be going wild over Patrick Mahomes and the click bait possibilities he will have at his disposal.
  19. This is a thread that should be closed because of its lunacy
  20. The Colorado Avalanche own Ottawa's first rounder in 2019, and with generational talent Hughes entering the draft, if that hits, what a disaster Ottawa has become. And think just less then two season ago, Ottawa was one bounce from the Stanley Cup Finals. This is why I think the Sabres can turn things around much faster then most expect. The salary cap era that benefits tax healthy regions has created this dynamic.
  21. 16-29 186 yards 1 TD 2 INT 33 yards rushing. Sacked 6 times. 38-16 San Diego wins.
  22. I think this is a byproduct of outrageous ticket prices and PSL's. Expect more of the same in NFL cities over the years that used to have guaranteed sellouts. Also lifting the blackout rule is going to have an effect.
