I would not say noone cares....thats a tragic story no matter how you slice it...especially for relatives of the dead.... Throw the media into your rant as well, the way they indirectly glorify the bad and do not care to talk about the good, the way the sensationalize everything today...and I believe that there are SO many people in the USA that are starving for attention, we have become such an entertainment driven society, some will do ANYTHING to get fame, ANYTHING. Thats part of the issue too. And as for morals, what are they? Nobody can tell me what to do! I can do WHATEVER THE FUGG I want ALL the time!!!!! Don't control me!!! Im not saying people should be controlled, but just know what is right and wrong and be civil to one another, is that too fuggin much to ask?? Guess so.

I think that is part of it, but IMO another factor is the huge increase in NFL fans having the NFL package in their own home...so a lot of see all the games on Sundays, it was not like that in the past. If a team like Atlanta came on MNF in the early 80's, it was worth watching, because you did not get to see the Falcons all that much, so you may be more inclined to watch the game just from a curiousity standpoint. Nowadays, we see so many more games, that curiousity factor is virtually gone.

Just a random question: Is there a reason why they will announce just a couple of games now and then the entire schedule a couple of weeks later? I imagine the schedule is done if they annouce a couple of games, why not just announce the whole thing??

Here is the key to this deal: Who would Miguel Cabrera replace in your OF? Who would you replace Soriano with? If the 2B you will replace Soriano will be worse then you replacing Cabrera at OF, then keep Sori. But having said that, Cabrera is much younger, so its a tough call. I know its a keeper league, but I always play to win THIS year first and look to the future 2nd.
