Why do we all fall for these "experts" rumors and opinions about the NFL Draft that turn out to be dead wrong? And why do we all get so excited or bent out of shape about draft grades for players who havnet played a down of NFL football in their life???

I think there should be a choice for unsure, its just so hard to say at this time. How much will the Bills miss JJ? Can the Bills adequately fill the LT position? Can they catch lightning in a bottle with all the OL they have? Honestly, I cannot even give an answer to whether it is better or not right now.

NICE!!!!!!!!!!! Im a HUGE Black Crowes fan....saw them here in NJ some time back when they were touring with Jimmy Page...what a great concert...and Chris Robinson is pure entertainment on stage, I agree, if any of you like the Crowes, go see them, you wont be disappointed. Good post as always FFS....it is a good way of looking at the Bills OL situation, there are no guarantees either way, the Bills could have drafted 2 OL in the 1st round w/o a OL coach with the credibility of JMac and it would be a risk, and having JMac and picking OL who arent rated as high on draft day is a risk as well. Personally, I have confidence that JMac and the Bills can get a cohesive and productive OL in place, but again, there are ZERO guarantees.

Speculating about what player the Bills could have gotten in the 05 draft by trading TH for a pick is pointless right now, we will never ever know what player they could have picked. Lets assume TH is going to be a part of the Bills in 2005. In the worst case scenario, lets say WM goes down for a 6-8 week period. Id be willing to bet any sum of money that TH will be EXTREMELY motivated to play his best football so he can get bigger $ elsewhere next year. Teams know that they will have to pay for TH after this year and they will not give the Bills much for TH, so why not keep him here in case there is any problems with WM? So having a backup like TH, we could do a lot worse, and if TH keeps the team going and helps earn the Bills a playoff spot, then WM comes back and he is ok, and then Henry leaves, I think we as Bills fans would sign off on that right now. Maybe this notion that the Bills have to get something for a player that is going to leave is of a result of the Peerless Price situation. Unfortunately, it does not always work that way. Ideally it would be great to get something for a player when they leave, but that is the exception, and not the rule.
