  1. Are you a cousin of another member here called "The Black Bear?" Welcome!!
  2. So sorry to hear of your loss Brandon, my thoughts and prayers are with you and your family
  3. Wow, 14 posts here in this thread and not one person has asked for a pic, must be a slow day
  4. Now if you are talking about beating the pats in NE I agree....but if TH didnt trip and the Bills had a clue on the infamous Bledsoe play at the end of the Pats game at home, Bills had a pretty decent shot to win at home. I just dont like the out of conference schedule as some others do here. For example, you think Carolina is going to be like last year? Think again.
  5. Win ALL home games? With all due respect, this isnt 1990. VERY few teams nowadays run the table at home. For the Bills to have any chance at the playoffs, I really feel they need to go at least 4-2 in the division. Say the Bills finish 3-3 in the division. To get to 10 wins they need to go 7-3 against: Atlanta Tampa Bay Cincinnati Houston Kansas City Denver Oakland Carolina New Orleans San Diego I know some of the tougher teams are home games, but 7-3 may be a lot to ask, IMO especially with a team who is probably not going to be stable on the OL starting a "rookie" QB. If the Bills can go 4-2 in the division, then 6-4 is more attainable.
  6. Where did I mention Cincy's offense was "great"? Nowhere did I mention that in this thread...I just mentioned the teams I mentioned because they have good offenses at worst..do not put words in my posts. And Baltimore also improved on the offensive side of the ball as well, Im telling you right now Id be shocked if Baltimore DIDNT make the playoffs in 2005. And I HATE the Ravens
  7. Baltimore played KC, Indy, Pitt twice, at NE, Cincy twice (with Palmer, big difference) at Philly.... Bills defense is very good, but stats are stats. Im sorry but give me the Ravens D if I need to win 1 game before Buffalo's/
  8. So you dont think the Ravens defense, who has PROVEN to shut down top offenses many more times then the Bills defense has, isnt better??? I like Buffalo's defense, but lets be fair here, if you had to choose defenses, you wouldnt take Baltimore over Buffalo's???
  9. I just do not see any way Baltimore misses this year, just my opinion. They finally have some playmakers at WR and their defense is still there, Boller or no Boller, they should win 10+ easy... Jets get a new OC (Hackett was very bad) they get Coles back, they got RID of Doug Brien...I think they will be tough to beat too. Kansas City upgraded on defense at multiple postions, and their offense is still top notch. San Diego and Jacksonville, I grant you that, we really dont know about San Diego, but I think the Jags and the Bengals are on the verge of a breakthrough. And Mark IV you are right, I guess if we read all the other message boards, we would not feel the same way about these other teams. Im not suggesting Im totally down about the season, Im just being realistic.
  10. Glad someone here sees the light about that crap station
  11. First of all, Bills are unproven at QB and the OL is still a question mark, and the schedule this year is tougher from top to bottom IMO, but to break this down easier, can the Bills make the playoffs in this conference? New England Pittsburgh Indy San Diego Baltimore Jacksonville Kansas City NY Jets Cincinnati Look at these teams like KC and Baltimore, they are MUCH improved in areas where they need to improve, and Baltimore's schedule last year was unforgiving, I doubt they miss the playoffs this year. This conference is loaded! Point is teams like J-Ville, Cincy, and Kansas City has all the reason, if not more, reason to be optimistic about the 2005 season. I think the playoffs is a long shot in 2005. Flame away
