  1. I have a question: Does TD and OBD purposely tease and torment us Bills fans with their "major" event annoucements or is this a case of overreaction to hearing any news that comes from OBD?
  2. TD will be responsible for anyone who is unable to purchase Day 1 tickets for "Sith"
  3. I agree. I just started watching the show and I have to say, very few shows get me to laugh as hard as I do when watching Chappelle!!
  4. Chappelle By DAVID BAUDER, AP Television Writer 15 minutes ago NEW YORK - Comedy Central star Dave Chappelle has checked himself into a mental health facility in South Africa, the magazine Entertainment Weekly reported on Wednesday. The comedian's whereabouts and condition have been unknown since Comedy Central abruptly announced last week that the planned May 31 launch of the third season of "Chappelle's Show" had been postponed and production halted. Chappelle flew from Newark, N.J., to South Africa on April 28 for treatment, said the magazine, quoting a source close to the show it would not identify. Entertainment Weekly said it had corroborating sources for its story. "We don't know where he is," Comedy Central spokesman Tony Fox said. "We've heard about South Africa. We don't know. We haven't talked to Dave." Chappelle's spokesman, Matt Labov, would not comment on the magazine's story. "It seems like the issues he's contending with are really quite serious," said Dade Hayes, a senior editor at Entertainment Weekly. "It isn't a case of him spending a weekend someplace recuperating from exhaustion." The magazine's sources say Chappelle is still in the facility, which was not named, Hayes said. Chappelle's representatives have denied that the comedian was abusing drugs. Chappelle reportedly signed a $50 million deal with Comedy Central for two more seasons of his show, a payday made possible because of the explosive sales of the show's first season DVD. The magazine said Chappelle had shot four to five episodes' worth of sketches for the new season, but none of its onstage introductions.

  12. Would love to see that, but buffalobills.com calls it an "event" that tells me it has to do with something like putting TT on the WOF, or something along those lines. But when it comes to TD, one never really knows what is in store sometimes!

  18. I wonder if the team would have the Los Angeles of Anaheim in its name too! Anaheim ANAHEIM, Calif. (AP) - The city of Anaheim outlined plans Tuesday for a football stadium near the home of the Angels that could house an NFL franchise by 2008. "We have an economic impact report approved for a 70,500-seat state-of-the-art stadium," said John Nicoletti, the city's external affairs manager. "We are working with the NFL to finalize our term sheet for their upcoming owners meeting May 24-25 in Washington, D.C. "We would love to be able to host NFL games in 2008." Anaheim is one of four sites in the greater Los Angeles area being considered for an NFL franchise. The others are the Los Angeles Coliseum, the Rose Bowl in Pasadena and a proposed stadium in Carson. Nicoletti, joined by several other city officials at the presentation, said the plan included a grand parkway that would link the stadium with Disneyland and other sports venues. "If called upon, we are ready to make our presentation to the NFL owners at the meetings in two weeks," Nicoletti said. David Carter, principal of The Sports Business Group, a marketing consultant, said after months of study he believes Anaheim is the best site for an NFL owner. Anaheim hired the Sports Business Group last fall to ascertain the best site from an owner's perspective for an NFL franchise in the greater Los Angeles area. The proposed stadium in Anaheim is about 35 miles south of downtown Los Angeles. "If I'm an NFL owner, I think I can make more money and build my franchise value more in Anaheim than at the other sites," Carter said. But, Carter added, there are other elements to consider. "We came back with the fact that each of the four competing sites has some real attributes and each has shortcomings," he said. "Ultimately, Anaheim's biggest shortcoming is the real estate values continue to escalate rapidly and the city believes there are additional uses for that land. "(Anaheim) may be the optimal site if you're an NFL owner, but it's very expensive, almost so attractive it could be tough to justify putting an NFL stadium in there." The area has been without an NFL franchise since the Rams left Anaheim for St. Louis and the Raiders left Los Angeles for Oakland before the 1995 season.
